@@dbdnrbdbit’s typically based off the performance of all the Camrys before it. Toyota is well known for their reliability. Some of these new gen Camrys already have well over a 500k miles on their ODO. Just saying so far they seem as reliable as their predecessor

Yes my 07 accord v6 with 175k is just broken in for sure. So is yours. Probably go 600k or something nuts. I see them getting taken outnin accidents more than dying from too many miles unless there is neglect

My grandma also has an Avalon trd,she’s been loyal to Toyota and been getting every generation camary. For some reason she ended up wanting an Avalon trd and she loves it. Me and her been looking for a new car for me and we went to a Toyota dealership and they were obsessed with her trd,and we couldn’t figure out why till they told us it was actually rare. I’m not a big Toyota person,but I think their cars look great. I just wish the newer Camarys had better interiors,cause in my opinion it’s outdated,but it’s not bad either. I ended up getting a 2023 Hyundai Elantra,but if the 2025 camary is better than the last gen then i will buy it. But if not, i will get a sonata.

What $33k? Those are more than $33k and that’s before mark up and taxes. Try going on a lot and finding a TRD for $33k MSRP. Maybe if you find an absolute base bones TRD. Then when you find that bare bones TRD try telling the dealer you don’t want tints and the “protective film” on that car.

My local dealer has a used 2022 with 1000 miles for $46K. Another has a 2020 with 27,000 miles for $37,926. Good luck getting one for msrp.

better to just get an XSE V6 and get a TRD Appearance package, u get heated and ventilated seats, moon roof, etc in the XSE, the TRD is a SE V6 with a few aero things and slightly stiffer suspension, so no heated/cooled seats, rear ac, or 360 cam

When I was building the XSE V6 you couldnt get the ventilated seats with the white and black paint. Such a weird restriction and a real bummer.

You don’t want the xse moon roofs. I work at a Toyota dealership and we get recalls on them like crazy. They leak and they’re around 10 grand to fix excluding labor

If you can wait to buy a car then do so. Right now, dealers are charging a mark-up on top of MSRP. Remember, MSRP is ALREADY a rip off. Even the invoice price listed is not what the dealer pays.. There's a thing called "dealer hold back" so even though they sell it to you as "Well, this is the invoice and this is what we paid"... That's just a bunch of nonsense. They pay below invoice. Moral of the story, wait if you can, then negotiate based on the aforementioned.

I really wish that this version of the Camry was actually better than the XSE. Its using the same engine and transmission. Make it a twin turbo (Lotus is already using it in the Emira), give it the 8 speed ZF transmission, super fast shifts, and make it AWD. Charge more for it too, $45,000 fully loaded and it will definitely dominate the segment and be a really serious sport sedan. Now if anyone knows how to put two turbos and the 8 spd ZF into a Camry XSE lmk

The TRD team was discontinued, the new generation is Gazoo Racing, I think they might be making a GR Camry right now, the thing is with the crown back and all the r/d going to hybrids/electric vehicles, it’s hard to tell when they will announce it, but Toyota is bound to release a 4 door sports car eventually.

XSEs are everywhere. TRDs are rare. That’s what people miss about this car when talking about this car. I had a super boomer in a corvette invite me to a car show while getting gas. I drove by a gas station and a little kid was jumping up and down pointing at it to his dad. That’s just last week. You won’t get these reactions driving a XSE.

I agree. Best in it's class for the amount spent. Although that color is great, nothing beats the new Underground color in the '24s. The last detail is they should have kept the sunroof! Other than that, it's a damn good ride period.

Get a S197 mustang for less than half the price and call it a day. Abused mine like crazy and the only thing that stopped me was a total loss from getting rear ended at a red. The build quality in the S197 is surprisingly good and you get great power for the money 3.7 or 5.0

So somthing to note if it’s important to you. The rear seat will not fold down. But it is the least expensive way to get the v6 camry. Hp is the same with the xse camry and you can select the trd exhaust, wheels, etc and have more creature comforts. All be it prob 8k more

I got a 2012 Toyota camery my mother got it brand new off the lot in 2012 she died in 2018 my dad used it and i finally got it in December of last year. Only thing wrong with it was the engine blew and dad got a decent engine with 50k miles. I drive it daily. Still going strong.

The markup still exists on these. Even the used ones are above original MSRP with 50k on the odometer. Pretty upsetting seeing that they have the market ‘cornered’ and some dip’n dot will walk right in and pay it

It's $33k because it's a V6 SE with an exhaust. That's literally it. It's slow for 301 HP. Couldnt go faster than my previous 07 TL Type-S despite that being down on power, 3 fewer cogs in the transmission and no LSD. The Acura drove way better too.
