So I got to tell you you did such an amazing job with your video, especially with not making it too long and wordy that I was able to follow it step by step and install my own bed step onto my own 2024 Toyota Tundra crewmax with a 6.5 bed. The install took me roughly 10 minutes and went perfect thanks to your video! I literally did one step pause your video performed. It came back and continued step by step.

I hit your trifecta - short, old, bad back! I miss the step bumper my old truck had so I just bought a step for my 2022 Tundra. I reviewed all the parts while I watched your video and now I’m ready to wrap it up, put under the tree, and wait. Nicely done video and I appreciate the quick summary of needed tools. Thanks for the walk through. For what its worth...mils are thousands of an inch and different from millimeters. 1 mil = 0.0254 mm

Thanks for mentioning that the top nut on the bracket is 10mm. That was helpful and I didn't see where anyone else mentioned it, and since you're taking it off blindly it's a little tricky.

FWIW: Toyota has changed design slightly with the step to apparatus connection. Now utilizing three screws, with a star head, directly through step into apparatus. No longer using the Allen bolt and shim as in your video. Be careful with tightening the screw as I get a bit aggressive and snapped off one of the heads. Easy install credited to your video though.
