The 2022 Polo 1.0 TSI Life manual starts from a recommended retail price of R375 400, is it definitely not a 'Polo nami ngiya sebenza' anymore. Let's find out how it compares against tough competition in this segment, looking at the pricing, optional extras and my recommendations.

Great review. Most of those extras are not worth it (especially for a polo). For Polo I would go with the following extras: 1) Tilting and sliding Panoramic sunroof 2) "Torsby" 6.5J X 16,Black,Diamond-turned, tires 195/55 R16 and 3) Radio "Composition Media". You don't need the self-park as you have front and rear parking sensors. I got Polo Life DSG in White with only the said 3 optional extras and very happy. By the way it has become apparent that the Keyless system makes the polo much easier to steal.

True💯 most of the optional extras should've been added as standard. I would add the same options as you did. It's very sad that VW Polo has become a victim of their own success, those IQ Lights are beautiful and makes the car standout but yhoo in town they will steal them, already it's a trend in Hatfield, Pretoria💔 I will cover a video on this soon. Also you're correct with the keyless, hence I always prefer the classic remote lock and check all if all the doors are locked. If anything looks suspicious GO, VAYA fast in a hurry.

Thank God, my parents bought this car cash. 🙏🏽 it has no sunroof, Mine has multicolor digital cockpit, composite media, rearview camera, 15" tyres. All for R400k.

Polo Tsi has its pros and cons, I advise you to go for a test drive and check the competition as well. Go for what would make you happy

True, cars are generally getting more and more expensive but these polos are overpriced and packed with unnecessary options, but what can we say, it is business.
