It's quickly becoming an annual tradition of heading out to McGrath, MN for the White Pine Logging and Threshing Show on Labor Day weekend. It's a fun time for all with watching Steam Engines running sawmills, water wheel grain mill, hit and miss engines, Fairbanks morse engines, threshing oats, and a parade every day. This year's featured tractor was Ford, but there was plenty of John Deere, Farmall, Case, Allis Chalmers, Cockshutt, Massey Harris, Oliver, Hart Parr, Rumely, and more! The kids always have fun seeing everything and doing a bit of shopping at the flea market. We highly encourage everyone to make the trip to White Pine at least once. We also really enjoyed getting to visit with viewers of our channel.

Trinity Dairy was established in 2006, in Minnesota. Alan and Jennifer farm with their 5 children; Jessica, Justin, Jordan, Joshua, and Jason. We milk a mix of 33 Jersey, Holstein, Brown Swiss, Guernsey, and Ayrshire cattle. We also enjoy sharing our family's love of Draft Horses and using them for logging and other farm work. Dairy Farming in Minnesota can be challenging, but it's a lifestyle we really enjoy. Subscribe today to watch our small family dairy farm and family grow while continuing to thank our Lord for the blessings we've been given.

My husband and I display at the shows around WI. We have quite a bit of old iron. It's a great way for kids to learn history and hopefully get interested in preserving it. Thank you for sharing. Stay safe and God bless.

@@trinitydairy yeah I know I generate some laughter around our community here because we're small. Farm is 226 acres 70 head of beef and we do some custom ground livestock feed on top of that. And some of the stuff I run this pretty old. I don't know if you remember or not but I'm the guy with the 41 BN that we redid last Summer and then got the cultivators done this year and got as close as we could to the regional international colors tried to find where they used the blue on them. You know you you fix one up and you wonder if you should put that kind of money into it but on the other hand if you take that same money barely make it down payment on a brand new one. We have 15-year-old one in a 5-year-old one and a 1988 model with a high lift on it do most of our heavier work but we find lots of holes in our work schedule like raking and tedding and pulling a smaller disc and moving wagons and that kind of thing that we can put ours on those old gassers. I always figure this way if I can use them and keep hours off of my newer more efficient ones and use them for the heavier work I'm probably further ahead. Nice video thank you enjoyed it. We as farmers around the nation of a debt of gratitude to these guys that are willing to go through the work and aggravation and everything else it goes with putting on these old equipment shows if one for those guys the younger generation wouldn't know what their parents and grandparents went through and their younger days

Awesome stuff. My Grandfather worked in a logging camp in the 1920's and introduced me to a lot of this stuff when mom and Dad built their house a neighbor sawed all the wood Dad cut with his milk and his 1937 John Deere G. The Amish milled the shingles. Next time I will try to be there. Awesome time.

@@trinitydairy if you are day tripping it, be there no later than 9AM. After 9AM the line just to get into the parking lot has been known to be over a mile long. Definitely plant on an 8hour day on the grounds, don't worry most folks who have been going for years still have not seen everything. That includes myself, been a member now for 4yrs and going longer. Also, if you and the kids want to ride the trains, get it done in the morning. The lines only get worse into the afternoon and evening when they stop giving rides. There is so much for kids, women, men, grandma's, grandpa's, etc. We leave there Sunday night after getting there Thursday and feel like we need a week of sleep and relaxing to recover. Its like 200acres of property turned into a massive show grounds. Don't worry though, there is lots of trolleys, tractors pulling wagons, etc to get rides on.

Alan, before church I need to comment on the threshing show at White Pine lodging. You made a comment to one of your sons that at one time you were thinking about a Cockshutt tractor. It's true that the Cockshutt line was eliminated in 1962 by hostile takeover by White. This Canadian tractor was begun in 1946 it was the first tractor line that had a Live PTO system. My uncle sold Cockshutt and Oliver. And later White also took over Oliver. I have three Cockshutt's one model 40, two models 30. Parts are available through individuals or the International Cockshutt club, Inc. believe me they made a fantastic tractor. You may get hold of me or the club to get more information. Thank you, Skip Ruckert
