After the explanation, im hoping youll be able to retrofit some sort of tubular c light set up. Though seems like a bit of bulbs to add to accomplish that.

Can do a single strip across the top, but most of those thicker tubular LEDs are garbage so we do not use them.

All that dead space is for the mid cycle refresh when the decide to change the headlight design , the back plate is already there

Sounds like the base model wrx is STILL the better buy. For so many reasons.

I am also interested in that adapter module. Will the steering response work with it tho?

Steering would not work since your car doesn’t have the computer telling those projectors to move. It would simply be for the gain of the c-lights

Really seems like you could take the c-light and plastics from the limited and use that in a lower trim. Seems like you would just change the pinout on the main harness?

My question is, can you swap the premium and GT full LED headlights for a 100% plug and play on the base model?

Unfortunately not. Any of the headlights at come with the built in c-light cannot be swapped into a model that did not have a c-light. Good rule of thumb to remember.

Is there a way to turn off the low beam when you have the switch set to parking lights on the premium? I like how the car looks when only the amber side marker lights are on but the low beam is always on even when set to the parking light setting. Thanks

Yes but you could upgrade the premium to c lights right? Make the board and the light set up?

Unfortunately the c-lights do not provide that much more light for night time driving. Also the Limited lights as of now do not work with the base and premium models. Best way to increase light output would be our Diode Dynamics Elite series fog lights! So is there a huge difference in visibility while driving between the base led and the limited steering responsive headlights?

No difference at all, besides the steering version moving from side to side. What lightbulbs go in the base / premium? Are they replaceable? For the headlights. It looks like you need to buy an entire new headlight / housing?

They are not replaceable. They are built in LED chips. If the headlight goes out on you, you need a full new headlight from Subaru 👎🏼

Pretty sure I read in the manual the limited lights are auto leveling

That’s what we thought too, but there is no leveling system attached to the lights, only the steering module 🤔

@@circuitdemon_ page 227, maybe I'm misunderstanding it, but it says Headlight Beam Leveler... AUTOMATIC headlight beam leveler adjusts.. I truthfully watched this video to find out difference between base amd all models, I have limited and thought only difference was the SRH

i have a base model, i am entertaining the idea of having fog lights; is there a plug and play solution? if so, can it use one of the dead switches on lower left side of the dashboard?

Can’t change it out, but can modify it with either frosting it or tint it.

Hey we are working the new headlights project, we would have the way to make them all compatible, I guess we met at Aapex last year, we are Archaic. I just sent you an email.
