Riding some trails on my YZ450F. The suspension is a little stiff for these rocks and roots.

Try the TP3 map. I love it. Is smooths out the low rpm and lets you easily loft the front end over obstacles.

I have the TP3 map downloaded, but haven’t used it much. Ive been running the TP5 and the Magic map most of the time. Do you have a real on/off sensation with the throttle? I had a 2019 YZ450FX and it wasn’t that way.

@@Rodneysnwridesandreviews I haven’t tried those maps, but I will. I got a used Rekluse autoclutch and increased idle speed a little. This completely eliminated stalling.

Do you have a Radiator fan?

Did you mess with the suspension at all or is it stock? I have a 2018 YZ450F I use to trail ride.

I had it revalved some, but the springs were too stiff for the woods, so I recently changed to the FX springs. I had the exact same setup on my 2019 YZ450FX, and that suspension was amazing in the woods

Put a 1.25 Yamalink on the rear shock and it will be much plusher ride without having to replace the spring then raise the forks 7mm in the clamps. Now you will have a much better corning machine without sacrificing high speed stability.

I already have an extended pull rod on it, but even after a revalve it was still deflecting off of rocks and roots. After I swapped out the springs it’s perfect 👍
