I've heard this piece performed many times but the way he plays it feels different than the others. It's almost as if he dances with the keys like it's the last time and with more passion and vibrance than others could create. Beautiful performance 👏

It gives that feeling cause his right hand is played fast/light and his left hand is a bit heavy. Maybe it is also due to the piano he chose.

This is the most beautiful cascade of bells I have ever heard. Mr. Bruce Liu is a true master of the art of transforming the sound of the piano into the sound of another instrument 😍😍😍.

Tak, tak. Tworzy unikatową muzykę. Niewątpliwie nie jest pospolitym mistrzem. He creates unique music. Undoubtedly, he is not an ordinary master 💫🪄🪄🪄🪄

Thanks for sharing! It was only late last year I got to know Bruce Liu on YT recommendation and I really wanted to see him in HK in February but before I could, tickets were already sold out.
I thought they said recording at this concert was not allowed.

Very remarkable finger technique but the piece is about a small bell, not a large church bell or Sunday bell ringing. Therefore it should be on a smaller scale except the ending, more delicate and intimate. It needs charm. Also his tempo fluctuates too much and turns it into a caricature, like music to accompany a Charlie Chaplin film.
