I HAD THE BEST AND MOST AWESOME DAD IN THE WORLD! HE WAS PERFECTION IN SO MANY WAYS, AND ON SO MANY LEVELS. HE WENT FROM BUILDING MODEL AIRPLANES, WITH THEIR CLEAR PLASTIC COCKPIT WINDOWS TO DEVOTING HIS LIFE TO THE REAL ONES ….. THE BEST OF THE REAL ONES. ❤ MISS YOU DADDY.

I live in Pensacola, Florida and I absolutely adore our Blue Angels. Every time they fly over, I have chill bumps. Such respect for these men and women. The only negative thing are those cheesy jumpsuits they are made to wear. I wish they would put them in something less tight, more comfortable and more like flights suits. I salute this amazing group with pride and respect.

Just saw the Blue Angles a week ago today in McMinnville Oreeeegone. The weather was perfect. Not a cloud in the sky and 70 degrees. The sneaker pass caught everyone by surprise!!

Well done with shooting and editing the videos which aren’t an easy task. I grew up on Pt. Mugu Naval base where my dad served as Captain so I get to see Blue Angels up close and even meet them. Memories!

The last two crew chiefs were the only ones who presented salutes in a timely manner (before aircrew was in front of them). Those ladies are squared away 🤘

I used to live in Mira Mesa, just outside Miramar. Got to see them many times as part of my job at North Island (FASO.) Part of their flight pattern sometimes took them, not over, but very near my home. Could see them from my driveway when the weather was good.

Those are the most amazing planes! I was stationed in El Toro Ca. I was in the power plants (engines and fuel systems, also crew chief) in the Marines in 1983! Loved every moment.

I saw the Blue Angels in 1960 @Grosse Ile Mich. they flew the F-4 Panthers. We watched them from a boat out on Lake Erie. Very good view, very impressive!!

I realize Top Gun focuses on combat mission and Blue Angels focus on flight demonstrations. Yet what are the primary differences between the two entities? Can a TG pilot be an a member of the BA without the interview process? Are the maneuvers between the TG and BA pilots the nearly the same?
