It looks so amazing. I think it’s going to really make a ton of people turn their heads no matter if they’re a fan or not. But that center exhaust just made the car get a way better rep because that’s the tradition corvette exhaust placement

I'm super excited and can't wait to place my order. I did see a different steering wheel awhile back, maybe that'll be the next nugget 😏 Torn between the Z06 and the E-Ray!! If the E-Ray doesn't come with a wide body, then I'm definitely shooting for the Z06/Z07 Hopefully without cup 2 tires. I don't track, but I love the look!! General Lee Out!

I'm really curious about the E-Ray as well! The Z06 is looking like a solid option though. Just not sure about the reliability of the flat plane crank engine.

Great content! Just an FYI, you forgot to mention the change to the side air intakes. The Z06 appears to be much bigger then the base while also having a slightly different shape the extended lower on the side. I also don’t see any boomerang lines so maybe they’re eliminating that design feature from the Z06 but maybe the camo just covers it for now.

The side skirts look like the standard C7 ZO6 and GS versions from you last side view. I believe the option will be stage 2 for longer skirts and maybe a stage 3 brining like the C8 full skirt. Love the Canada on the get and the more aggressive splitter. Going to the back the added diffuser and outside airflow exits at the corners. Hope we see this soon at a reveal. Still not sure about the wheels. Thanks for your teardown of the pics. CAN'T WAIT MUCH LONGER

Hoping it runs dual fuel E90, dual clutch trans, twin turbos and duel E-front all wheel drive to spank the tesla's I like to think the flat plane crank is in the bag I'll take mine in white with carbon trim.

No front fender well vents, the side skirts could be more pronounced, and the rear wing could be higher, looks more like a 992 911 GT3 competitor, not a competitor to the GT3 RS, maybe a Z06 X or Z0R will have my mentioned changes and still be street legal(I would like 285/35r19 on 10.5 and 345/30r20 on 13's but that's probably too far fetched😢 even though more sidewall will have more gradual release of traction around corners and is better at maintaining traction around corners that are less than smooth and less heat soak for track work).

Well the C7 Z06 aero was similar to the 991 GT3, but it competed with the GT3 RS.

@@Marcello2005 The 2017 C7 Z06 has a 7:13.9 Nuringburg lap time and the non RS 2018 991.2 GT3 has a 7:12.7 Nuringburg lap time despite having 157 less HP and 311 less ft.lbs. and the 992.1 GT3 is even more track capable with better handling characteristics vs the 991.2 GT3.

@@gen1c8rs88 it’s faster around the ring but Porsche literally builds its cars to be fast on that track. The C7 Z06 is more intended for tracks like VIR.

@@Marcello2005 The C7's transverse leafsprings have cross talk, when the tire on one side moves, this motion is transferred to and adversely affects the other side's suspention, creating a lose rear end. The gen5 Viper ACR-E and C7 ZR1 ZTK are the competitors as far as elapsed track times, for the 991.2 GT3 RS.

Extra vents and such might be coming up on the ZR1 and Zora. I would love the Zora to be made a little more distinctive front and back design and a roof intake option would really look aggressive.

Reminds me of seeing a Pantera on a car lot in the 70's that had belonged to the Jackson 5 according the the salesman. It had custom paint and attached pipes to the front fender behind the wheel that then dropped down to follow the rocker back to the rear wheels to look like the engine was in the front. Sorry I didn't buy it at $10,400 asking...but who ever thought the Jackson's would go so far.....lol.

@@polystictus Love the Pantera! Love the Jackson 5 (not the later Jackson’s so much). Love the side pipes of yesteryear! Not a fan of adding fake front pipes to a mid engine vehicle.

There will definitely be multiple aero kits available. I'm just curious where this kit falls on the spectrum. If there is something more aggressive than this one I can't wait to see it 🔥

@@CarsCostsandTechnology If somehow the factory does not do it, you know someone else will do what they should have. A big C8R style wing may well be another option by the factory or at least the aftermarket.

@@CarsCostsandTechnology Rick Conti did that and drove to Detroit with it. Some liked it while others thought it was an impractical joke. Too much time and money to do all that to fool people in my opinion.

At some point they need to test ZR1's. I recall videos of the camoed cars that had at least one car with different wheels from the others but not these carbon fiber spoked design. I wondered if one of them was more ZR1 than Z06.
