This is a new 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Custom Trail Boss. This Silverado comes in black on jet black cloth interior. The powertrain consists of a 5.3 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.
Standard features of this Silverado 1500 Custom Trail Boss include bluetooth audio, a backup camera, and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto compatibility. Additional features include 20" black gloss wheels, a spray-on bed liner and off-road assist steps.

I pick mine up on Saturday. Has only 15k miles, fire red, paid 42k. Not bad of a deal.

I totally agree. I got mine after dealer rebates and after 2024 1500s started making their way to big dealerships. Only paid 51 before the fees. I still would argue everyday that price is what the LT should cost and the custom should be closer to 45. But GM is greedy and can’t keep up with supply and demand so they charge more for those who want them.

I like the older interior like this one has better. Less clutter, manual gauges. V8 is a no brainer to me. Really love this package. I’d do the 18 inch wheels and upon delivery bump the tire size to 295/70/r18. I think that’d be the best bang for buck truck the market has to offer.

I think my 2024 model is virtually identical to the one reviewed here I added dealer installed rear wheelhousing inserts, and 4 inch assist steps. Also added Weathertech front and rear floor liners, as well as a 7inch antenna. Really enjoying it.

I hope everything you showed here is also identical to the ones in Canada. Like the compartment in the center seat. The outlets in the tailgate and inside. And the 20 inch wheels. Even with pockets in the seats would be nice.

I have a 23’ Silverado custom that isn’t trail boss and it comes with 275/60r20’s. It has slightly bigger tires than this one 265/60r20

Nice looking truck but they need to step up the horsepower on the 5.3 from its 355hp to 400 that the Ford 5.0 and Ram hemi offer

Pretty much the case with most of the bigger US brands. My brother just paid 80k for a Lariat F-150 and that was with the X-Plan discount!

I bought the same exact truck in 2021 for $39,000 out the door price. Same interior, same 5.3 v8, same custom trail boss trim level. DO NOT BUY THESE OVERPRICED TRUCKS. $15,000 extra for the same truck is not worth it.

@@Volstandigkeit it's aged extremely poorly. I've used it a lot before and the fact that they're still putting them in new vehicles is a complete joke. Besides, it's not hard to make an infotainment system "reliable"

@@campbell0162 it's not that much more expensive and that's only if it breaks. It's pretty rare for them to go bad, besides, it would still be a lot of money to replace the older ones too.
