Question, I’m about to go on vacation, a 6 hour and 30 min drive, what’s the 3rd row like in the 2023 Tahoe? Is it comfortable enough for that drive? The occupants are likely to be my 6 year old and a female in the 5-2 to 5-4 range… Thanks in advance… 👍🏾

Have been waiting for our 2022 LS Tahoe since November 2022, It has been updated to a 2023 and we are supposed to have it in 2 weeks. We ordered the Duramax and have some long road trips plans once we get it.

Not a lot of reviews on 1st row bench. Having 9 seats is so awesome! But the transmission is really high and could be a complaint for 1st row middle seat leg room. For kids I guess

Totally agree with you Chad. My 1999 Tahoe LS 4x4 (237,000 mi) has cloth bench seats and they've been great. I ordered it from the factory and it's been a very reliable, comfortable vehicle. My next Tahoe will have cloth bench seats too.

@@VehicleVisionary I have had it for about 3 weeks ago, and have to say as it being my first BIG vehicle, it was not hard to get used to the size, and the comfort. Even as the base LS with not added options, it is VERY well equipped and has more features that the vehicle that we traded in, as well as our other vehicle. I have had no issues with this vehicle and have the 5.3 engine. had dealer fix a couple of small paint issues that came from factory, but otherwise it is all good so far. I love the 4 rows of lights in the roof, the 1st and 2nd row foot well lights, as well as the lights in the door handle access points and the doors upper storage light. The auto start/stop is annoying as all get out, but i just shut it off whenever i start up. The bench 1st row is nice and the seat is not terrible to sit in, however, leg room is not going to be ideal for taller people to sit there for any length of time. I would say 4'6" is probably as tall as id want to sit there. I think that is due to the radio and HVAC controls sticking down and towards the seat. This beast feels quite snappy for such a large machine. Folks who say it doesn't have getup and go must really like to mash the gash and want to get pushed into their seat when accelerating. I can get it to push me into the seat without needing to rev up over 3k rpm. If I ever need to push it, i'm sure it will really do what i need it to do. going 60 feels like your going 45, 70 feels like 55-60. Visibility for me seems pretty good, and i use my rear/side mirrors all the time and i never feel like i am unsure where the vehicle is in relation to curbs, lane edges, other cars in parking spaces/lots. This rig is a very nice ride if your getting into your first full sized SUV or Truck. It has plenty of tech and has more than i will likely ever use.

Your comment reminded me of a story I was told when I took drivers Ed as a teenager. The teacher said that he was driving behind one of his former students. The former student made several turns without using his blinker. Finally he turned into a parking lot so the instructor followed him and confronted him about the matter.
