The 2022 Tacoma I traded ins hood was so much heavier than my Trail Boss,,the Toyotas hood was steel,,the Colorados is aluminum! And I could tell the difference big time!

Yeah, it is way way lighter which is good because it reduces weight!

I had these Redline Tuning hood shocks on my 2008 Tacoma Tacoma. Made it sooo much easier to open/close the hood. Well worth the investment.

just ordered my Canyon struts , they weren't available but now they are to order won't ship until September is what the checkout told me just an FYI fir you canyon guys cause it is in fact different than the colorado

When i put mine on in May, i noticed that the part numbers for the hood brackets were switched on the instruction sheet. I ended up using the pictures to verify the correct side each bracket went to

No issues at all, I did, however go grab a washer and a separate nut.

I noticed on the right side that you have the same issue as a lot of folks - the corner cowl piece is detached from the long center cowl piece. Pushing the hood up past the length of the prop stick ... doesn't that push up on both corner cowl pieces with the hood hinge and thus pull them apart from the center cowl piece? I was able to get the left side cowl piece reattached to the center, but the right side I couldn't even pull together with the center, so with these hood struts allowing more 'up travel', just wondering if they're pushing on those corner cowl pieces.

No issues because the hood raises as it comes up leaving a gap.

I noticed Red Line Tuning doesn't show GMC Canyon equivalent to the 2023 Colorado. It would seem these lifts will work on both models

Found an answer to my own question from the Colorado description: "This system will not work on the Canyon model for these model years. We are currently redesigning the lower attachment with a method that will work for both the Colorado and the Canyon. This system will be listed for both vehicles once our new parts are in house."

No issues at all, the Cowell piece actually has a piece of rubber and it’s not plastic, it’s designed to give way for the hood to raise

Are you going to be looking into installing an oil catch can/oil filter on your colorado? Im expecting my own 2023 colorado to ship soon, and since its turboed i have been trying to research oil catch cans. Problem is there are no dedicated sets for it yet. Curious to know if you will be installing one and if so, will you custom put one together? Or wait for a 2023 colorado plug-and-play set to become available?

A prenup would be if the male or female has substantial investments and needs to protect assets in case of a fraudulent marriage. This protects both parties and should be welcomed.

Apparently it’s not standard on the trail boss, but I’m going to contact GM and if that’s the case order the part myself.
