Holy cow, I didn't know you could do as much as you've done. Your bike looks great and sounds like it's performing well. I have a 24 CVO RG in legendary orange, so far I've added the chopped tour pak and my Saddlemen seat should be shipping soon. You've definitely given me some idea's for sure. Thanks!

Great video. I was wondering about how to install fog lights. Do you have a video on the install? I like the switch too.
@AZBaggers7 ай бұрын
I didnt make a video on the install. I bought the kit from LS Fabworks. it was designed to go under the floorboards but didnt fit. So I bought mounts from custom dynamics and they are in a better spot IMO. It's an easy install just run the wiring back to the battery and drill a hole in the deflector to accommodate the switch (included in the kit). I did need to get angled spacers to accommodate for the angle of the crash bar and make them more parallel though.
@tedrudich48637 ай бұрын
@@AZBaggers thanks for the additional info. I have installed Moto Lights on a number of my bikes. They install on the caliper so it’s off the crash bar. However, I like the broader separation on your install. Nice job.

could you provide the company name to your rear crash bars/for some reason I can't quite make it out on the video. Beautiful upgrades - using your video for planning mine - thank you!

I'm looking into ordering the same wheels with ceramic bearings and doing both front & back Ohlins. Did you do the 32mm front inserts? Are they adjustable from the top? I can't tell from the video, but they look like what I had on a Ducati I used to race. I would adjust from the top of the forks on the track then down tune them for the street. Also, in your opinion, did the wheels make a huge difference in the performance, both handling and getting more usable power? Would you consider it equivalent to the difference of going from stock suspension to full Ohlins? Thank you for the awesome videos! Best CVO I've seen so far!
@AZBaggers6 ай бұрын
Thanks for the comments. So, Big Bear Choppers in California custom makes the front cartridges and is the only custom Ohlins manufacturer. Kevin is awesome and it's not any more costly. they are fully adjustable compression and rebound. As far as the wheels, it is a considerable difference and as soon as I can get it tuned I am sure there will be a noticeable increase in deliverable power. IMO worth every penny. With the Ohlins and wheels this bike handles like its on rails, it was good before upgrades but it's a true bagger sports bike. Thanks again, as soon as parts come available I will post more...

I have same bike all stock except windshield..how much was your build so far..going with Corbin seat next..not sure about exhaust or engine mods..i want to get engine to run more rich..but I have a hard time enjoying my ride with my mind going numb from a loud exhaust...anyway love the build you have done ...

So there aren't any options for fuel mapping yet. I know people are working on it, as far a costs so far. if I had to guess 12K minus the tour pak. The seats are about $800 each. The evolution set up 2K, the wheels, tires and brakes $7500. the intake 500 and the lights 350. Im sure there are bits and pieces im missing.

Great overview of your mods. As for the Baja Designs lights on crash bar, did you use the harness put out by Soundz or something different? Does your lights function through the infotainment screen?
@Jedi_Obi-Wan7 ай бұрын
I saw afterwards that you fashioned your own switch for the fogs. Sorry. Soundz sells a harness that allows you to control the lights through your infotainment screen and they dim when you hit your high beams.
@AZBaggers7 ай бұрын
I bought the entire kit from LSFab and they havent produced the harness jumper for the foglight plug to operate in the infotainment yet. I will play with that as soon as the harness is made. right now I have the switch on the mid frame air deflector.

Since you’re in AZ are you going to do the stage 1 Harley tuner? Also why not Harley windshield and rear 6x9?
@AZBaggers7 ай бұрын
I did stage 1 with the HD SE tuner (only thing available) Im waiting for a dark tinted windshield from Klock, Harleys are clear. I did do the 6X9 speaker upgrade and swapped them for Hertz. The HD 6X9's are for sale for $300 if you want them. I just plan on going with better audio power and would have to upgrade the speakers eventually.

The Baja lights did you just zip tie and run the wires along to the wind deflector? Trying to figure out how you hide them. Also did you just purchase an extra deflector or how did you do that?
@AZBaggers6 ай бұрын
So I zip tied them to the crash bar on the bottom and ran them up the side panel structure, then under the tank to the battery. I used Zip ties, no extra parts needed.

nice upgrades, do you experience a delay on the throttle when you blip it? The reaction is slow and sometimes backfires.

So I never get a backfire, there is a slight hesitation but not noticeable when riding. There isn't a tune available for these bike yet so its not operating at it full potential currently.

Same bike..what has your build cost so far..? Iam not doing work..so EST ..on labor at 139.00 per hour..thank you..oh handle bars stay stock..and did suspension work increase travel ?or make the ride more comfortable?..that you sir...
@AZBaggers6 ай бұрын
Hello, so without the Carbon fiber wheels I have about 5K invested. Front suspension was done by Big Bear in California. I changed my rears (1 hr labor approx). The suspension was changed for performance purpose only. I would assume the crash bars, lights, speakers would be 3-4 hours labor. The seats were just an easy swap. Hope that helps

How deep did you have to go in with the three-quarter bit on the bars for the heated grip? I’m putting the same set up on my bike. I’ve got all the parts. I haven’t taken it apart yet taking the bars to the shop today to get it drilled just need to know how deep to go.
@AZBaggers6 ай бұрын
You have to go the full length one the grip, I didnt take a measurement. I just went to right before the first bend to be safe. You remove very little material bit its just enough to get the element in there. Also you only have to do the clutch side. You'd think they would make both sides big enough. However, they are made for MX.
@keithrathbun20886 ай бұрын
@@AZBaggers getting ready to put mine on today. Thanks for doing the information video. Did you end up cutting off portion of your bars on the clutch side? Also, how did you get to the bottom of the tree to remove the stock risers any tricks?
@AZBaggers6 ай бұрын
I did not, but you have the option to do so. You need to take the side deflectors off and lift the front wheel off the ground and swing the front end from Side to side. you'll find the sweet spot on both. Tightening them you might need someone to hold the front end still.....Hope that helps @@keithrathbun2088

And just out of curiosity why would you go down from Rockford Fosgate to Hertz? Quality and support on Rockford is much better also I know Rockford has high electrical resistance because they are 2ohm which means that 2ohm Rockford speakers are louder than 4ohm Hertz ones. Although louder, 2 ohm speakes are also more likely to produce a poorer quality of sound due to its' power consumption. Was that your reason you switched ? I'm just curious. At least I would go with Cicada Audio
@AZBaggers4 ай бұрын
@@bartii8311 I don’t know much about the engineering. I’m eventually going to replace the hertz with a more mid bass driver. Other than that no particular reason. I try different options until I get a perfect sound for me.

100 pounds sprong weight?
@AZBaggers7 ай бұрын
The unsprung weight is the total weight of parts that are NOT supported by the vehicle’s suspension. We’re talking about the springs, suspension, axles, the braking system and the wheels and tires. It is the unsprung weight of the vehicle that directly affects driving feel of a vehicle. The smaller the amount of unsprung weight, the more effectively the suspension will be able to do its “stabilizing” job on uneven roads. So reducing the unsprung weight will result in an overall better handling vehicle with a better driving feel.
