I bought a 2023 AT4 vs a tremor. The pros on the tremor is that it is quieter overall. I ran the same tires on my AT4 as my 2017 XLT and the ford beats it's in sound insulation by quite a bit. The biggest difference you will notice is the 3.5 Ecoboost is much faster during normal driving (keeping it under 2K rpm). It also doesn't down shift on small hills with cruise control active. The 6.2L loves to hunt gears all the time and multiple times going up a slight incline. You don't notice it unless you get used to climbing hills and maintaining speed in 10th gear all the way through vs the 6.2 dropping 2-3 gears everytime. You can also just let the 6.2L loose speed and stay in tenth gear going up a hill like. Kinda like when you drove your dad's old 1990s truck and you'd have to rev it out to maintain speed lol. The AT4 looks much better inside and out but that's a personal opinion. The AT4 ride is also smoother than the Tremor but I found out that's all due to the very thin standard load tires it comes with. Which lead to the truck being very squishy during turns. You can feel the tires give during every highway turn. Do I regret my AT4 purchase? Yes and no, I believe the ford is overall better if you don't plan to keep it past 100K miles. The ford is overall more comfortable to drive. This is all because I am used to ford's quiete drive. I am for sure trading the AT4 in for an F150. Only once they get rid of this ugly front end design and change their uncomfortable seats.

My 2023 ZR2 got 23 MPG on a trip, was all freeway for 4.5 hours. I was impressed with the fuel economy. MPG's are all in how you drive it !

I have a 22 trail boss with the 6.2 and I often get 18 or 19 mpg in town and have even looked down and seen 21 a few times. I'm honestly stunned with the 6.2s "efficiency".😅

3.23 definitely made the difference. That 10 speed allows for that tall rear end too with No performance hit either. Looked like the 0-60 was pretty close and that’s a big plus considering you are at around 4000’ elevation.

A blown small engine can never be as good as a lightly-stressed big engine. Yes, it might use slightly less gas, but it either won't last as long, or, it will weigh almost as much as a big engine. Just not much of an advantage, unless you love complicated. I love simple.

GM's 6.2 with DOD is more complicated and less reliable than Ford's 3.5.

@@benjaminwayneb Just bypass the DOD feature, the way Cadillac owners did with the 1981 V8-6-4. And I don't want double overhead cams and rubber timing chains on a street engine, nor do I want turbos on an automotive gasoline engine.

Also, turbos are better for diesels and aircraft engines. Superchargers are better for automotive gasoline engines.

Superchargers use a lot of power to run, turbo's are driven by waste energy.

@@benjaminwayneb But superchargers give you instant response, less heat, less complication, and won't coke up their bearings the way turbos can. And superchargers don't increase back pressure the turbos can, and high back pressure means pumping losses.

That 6.2 Is Life,Especially With A Max Tow Package(3.42) & A 🔟 Speed. It Can Beat The Ford F-150 With A 3.5L Ecoboost V6 With The Same Transmission Including The Max Tow Package (3.55) & By The Way,The 41 Gallon Tank Is Good.

@@benjaminwayneb No way. No turbos, no oil leaking everywhere. No crazy overhead cams and timing chains. My 6.2s don't have AFM.

@@swathdiver489 GM's 5.3 and 6.2 have far more oil leaks then Ford's 3.5 and your 6.2 still has the the same lifter rollers that fail at a high rate with or without AFM.

@@benjaminwayneb That's not true at all. I'm at 185K and still waiting for my lifters to fail. Ferds come with a bag of oil dry.
