This is a 25k truck all day! No way is it worth that to anyone.. I bought a 2017 in 2018 for 24k with only 14k miles on it. This is just crazy

Hard to compare used truck prices to new truck but you totally have a point. Prices are up for sure!

@MacPhee Ford yeah but with only 14k on the truck I can't justify an extra 25k. Especially for a base model

when you pay to have all of them sit on your lot forever maybe you'll bring the prices back to where normal family incomes can afford them, and no stretching out the payments to 7 or 8 years is not the answer.

Unfortunately we don't make the prices, Ford does.

Once again, Ford only wants 200k plus folks to walk on your lot. 57K for a "work" truck is just too much money for a middle-class driver. Why even bother showing it?

57k for a plastic ipad and it has a $1,600 lawn mower engine in it… I’m good. Keep wrenching on the one I have paid for….. Just unbelievable…..

Nice job .... you know your product! Local dealer had two almost identical to your truck and I went and looked. Around $45,000 (U.S. dollars) - I was shell shocked. Thanks to inflation it's getting to the point where the average Joe won't be able to afford a new full size truck. Price aside I think these are Ford's best F-150's yet- plenty of power/torque, fuel efficient and capable and a far cry from the '87 and '91 I once owned. My only reservation is the lack of rear fender liners; I live snow/salt country. Don't know about Canada but in my neck of the woods new regular cab/8' box trucks are becoming increasingly rare.

We appreciate the kind words! Ford is really leading the game with the truck segment! Fender liners are almost always optional on all trim levels. We are located by the Atlantic Ocean and salt is used for the roads so we certainly know the struggle with corrosion and rust. The best option is always to undercoat to prevent rusting but fender liners always help too!

Do the XL trucks all have that style key? On the rendering on their website it shows push to start
@MacPhee_Ford
@MacPhee_Ford Жыл бұрын
Yes, all XL models will have the stick-in key. Push-Start with keyless fob is available on XLT 302A and above models. The Ford Build&Price tool isn't always super accurate.

Love the 2.7 Ecoboost but the 10 speed is fine, but about 5% of the time it’s total crap, when you come to a stop feels like it falls down to first, had a 17 and I like the 6 speed way more than my 23’s 10 speed!

$57 grand is $43 grand in the usa. $43 grand for a single cab base model is ridiculous!

Bought a new Regular cab sport model in 2016 and the price is only twenty-five Grand. Way more options and way less price but I guess it has been 7 years

Yes the new trucks have certainly gained more standard features which inflates cost but it is hard to compare to a 7 year old purchase. Lots changed since then for sure!

Yes! Certain XLT models are available with vinyl floors. In fact, vinyl floors come as a standard feature on some XLT models and carpet would have to be optioned in.

I think International Harvester should be convinced to build us a real truck again, something without all the plastic vanity in the cab, a manual transmission, a set of tools and a map of the local area its sold in. An AM/FM radio is all the distraction a driver needs. And a free 5 step plan to have a driver prove he is worthy to buy the vehicle only after the driver is proven as a proven driver, for $25,000.

$57,385.00, really! Ford can keep their nice-looking truck. I hate to say this since Ford played such a great role in winning WW2, however, I admit, Ford is going bankrupt by pricing themselves ahead of inflation, along with Chevrolet and Chrysler. Let's hope the Japanese can come up with a great, affordable work truck. Here's a hint. In 1979, the average worker could afford the pride in himself to buy a new truck. In 1979, the truck had all the features you needed, it had a basic interior with metal pillars, a heater, and an AM/FM radio, no electronics to hide the fact that the government will give anyone a license, like lane keeping assist and back up cameras. We also had real engines that needed no turbochargers to boneyard them early. The only thing missing from a real truck in 1979 that is largely overcome today is the rust factor. Today's technology makes our gems look better for much longer. It is the only real advance in the auto industry. Even airbags are useless in an environment where every is paying full attention to their role as a responsible driver.

Confused how you said it’s not a work truck when moving into the future some of these options have to be standard into today’s safety regulations 😐
@MacPhee_Ford
@MacPhee_Ford Жыл бұрын
They will eventually become mandated safety features but for now Ford puts them in to make the trucks more safe. Lane-Keeping System, parking sensors, pre-collision assist, are features that are included by Ford not the government.
