@@rjwintl the V8 is the cheaper option. The 3.5TT makes the same horsepower as the V8 but 90 more lbs-ft torque and 1k rpm sooner, and is rated at higher efficiency. Which is why it's so expensive even though it's a single cab.

Dude, I'm a fairly young guy, this truck when I finished college about 9 years ago was 24,000. No reason they have gone up this much except greed.

They gotta get the v8 single cab back with the short medium and long bed. Optional at the same time. The prices are too high we have gone wrong somewhere. Before backup cams blind spot sensors etc, the vehicles were more affordable and hugher average quality

Its definetly about 15k too much. But it also is a real truck designed like a traditional worl truck and not like a cybertruck polygon. Its more capable in the real world than a cybertruck. Slightly more reliable than chevy, more than ram, arguably less than toyota, depending on what we are talking about. For example, a tacoma these days base model costs damn near the same monet and it has a plastic bed. Ford you have a metal bed. You can get all the way from a 2.7 turbo 4 banger up to the v8 which is the best. I just think the quality control dropped and if i was in charge of quality control id be firing people for putting plastic oil pans and engine components on it. Plus the tail gate handle works and wont bust like a gm tailgate handle. Im a fan of simply non complex traditional durable affordable tailgates

I'm a big enough guy that my shins rub the dash on the ram 1500 classic on most days. In a bench seat f150, there's really only one point of contact - where the center console would mate up to the dash on the buckets version. Bucket seat f150 and bucket seat Silverado 1500 are both more omfortable than Ram for me. Ram seats have a little more hip space but Ford is better on legroom and Chevy better yet. Silverado 1500 with bench seats is unusable for me. The center seat stays forward and the driver and passenger seats don't have nearly enough hip or shoulder width. Ford's side mirrors are bad, though.lower inside corner cut away, disrupts proper view.

I like the fords. Right now they are king of crap truck mountain. You gotta get the best. Not that gm ram junk. Theyre all junk to me but the ford sells the most. Not owned by fiat chrysler bro. F150 still way ahead lf the cybertruck and for less money. I just think we gotta get rid of the plastic engine compinents oil pans etc. The quality dropped too much fro mthe abd economy pandemic situations last few years. Cant let ford turn into gm where the tailgate handle is shit. For the price the truck has to be good it cant be junk

i think they do start in the low 30s. seems like they get you with the engine options, 4x4 and chrome package etc. plus they throw destination fees on top of it all and that $30k becomes $40k+

they used to have manual windows until 2021... 😭 ford just recently killed manual windows on their base model commercial trucks like this one... such a shame. now you gotta replace window motors after 10 years and take the whole entire door apart.
