@AllAboutTKK I think you need to paste the new format into your description for it to work. That way, the chapter points (with descriptions) pop up for all users. I've made the changes. But I must say that I was able to click each of the time stamps I put and I seen that it went exactly where I wanted them to go. Could you please just help me to understand if they were not working. Seeking first to understand. In any event I will be sure to use the format you shared going forward. Thank you.

@@AllAboutTKK Your links did work. However the chapter points didn't show up in the interface itself because it was in the wrong format. Citing my video example (on a mobile device) when you tap on the video screen you will see the chapter points on the video itself with labels. It will also then magically show the buttons below the video for quick jumping to and fro. On a TV if you fast forward, you will see the chapter points with descriptions magically pop up as well and you can navigate up and left right to choose chapters. Your links although they DID take you to the proper cue points in the video, did not have the correct format to unlock the extra bells and whistles it was designed for.

Love the project. I'm not actively into this scene right now, but I've seriously thought about building a "console-ized" arcade cabinet for fighters or somethign along those lines. In the meantime, I'll enjoy it vicariously through you! :)

Thanks for going through the trouble of filming this. I want to get myself a vewlix and like you said the monitor mount is the main big question. I assume you plopped the monitor inside the chewlix bezel, centered it and simply adjusted the angle of the Walmart brackets. Very simple and smart.

You explain things to a way I understand, so thank you very much. You helped me convince my wife to get a Vewlix/Chewlix. I have to give up my Rec Room Sitdown but we both know Vewlix is the way to go. Thanks again!

This is a really great video and very helpful! I was looking for a 4k monitor and the BenQ one you used with the remote is perfect. Also digging the speaker and steam deck set up. Keep up these arcade videos!

Great stuff. I agree on the single control panel. I want to get a Vewlix/Chewlix and go that route because it will be just me 99% of the time alone. When I do have 2 players, I think I would just use a USB port and an arcade stick to sit on player 2's lap.

This was dope because I like how you can play online with this very well done my guy. I stopped buying the arcade1up after nba jams because my hands are to big to enjoy them

I set my PC on my desktop a ways away from the cabinet. 1 usb, 1 HDMI and 1 audio cable to the cabinet. Eliminates all the heat problems, Don't need any cabinet fans.

@TheNickybocker gotcha. That’s dope but the perk of having something built inside makes it fully modular. I’m about to break my Chewlix down next month and work on adding a button and such to take it there. Appreciate you sharing.

Cool setup. I'm also in the process of rebuilding my chewlix setup and was wondering how you wired up your speakers, passive or series? Would you happen to give a quick photo or guide how its done. I have a very similar dual channel amp and 3" audio lab speakers.

The monitor want mount in a vewlix without some sort of new mouting bracket, vewlix monitors have 4 holes on the back like a vasa mount and get screwed into the frame with 4 bolts from the back.

Awesome sharing and updates! I actually watched till the end to know what I can do to mod a vanilla Chewlix. My Chewlix is en route and ETA one week from now, so these parts helped. Not sure if you have plan to add any digital marquee? I’m having a crazy idea to not add one, but three! If you don’t mind could you measure the dimension of the top and bottom marquee, as well as the lid area (where moveset goes) and I’ll see if I could find any LCD that matches those size from my local factory! Currently building my 1g1r romset while waiting for the cabinet to arrive 😂

@@AllAboutTKK it’s short for one game one rom and is a concept when creating a platform library. Each library will only has one variant of a game instead of all the regions and different revisions, and which version to be picked is totally up to you or the 1g1r creator. It usually prioritise English language roms, then to the foreign native language ones if that game is never localised. I like this concept and it’s a recent one brought up several years ago. I don’t even aware of it until Google since I started rom collecting back in 2008.

Great video. Did you have to modify the speaker boxes at all? Seems the audio-lab speakers are just a bit too thick to fit the grill/trim flush.

My man, did you have to de-case the monitor or can it just go inside the way it is? I'm always confused whether or not the bottom portion of the monitor bezel is seen through the glass of the cabinet or do you ONLY see the monitor screen, I hope that makes sense what I'm asking.

I did not have to do that, just a few items to get the fit in order and you are clean. Worked both the same for my Chewlix and Vewlix.

Hey TKK. So I’m picking up the BenQ MOBIUZ for my chewlix because they’re on sale. Couple of quick questions. Did you de-case anything off of it? And do you use the internal speaker in it or just run the 4 chewlix speakers?

Good. No de-case. Just used a couple random items to make it fit. Just before you position everything you ensure you can use the remote. Might have to point it downward in the direction of the sensor but it’s nice to have for settings. And while the monitor speakers worked, it’s important to keep in mind that the speakers are blocked by the housing of the cabinet. Using the Chewlix/amp speakers are optimal. Just run the 3.5 to the monitor and you’re good to go.

@trevoroickle7753 bingo! Amp might need to be an RCA to 3.5 cable, just all depends on the configuration. But this is how you pull the hdmi audio from the console to out it from the monitor headphone (3.5) to the amp, which in term gets it to the speakers.

@trevoroickle7753 haha yeah save that cash, no passing through anything brother. Console to monitor. Now with the remote you can either select audio out to be headphones (amp) or monitor speakers.
