2023 Hydraulic Rototiller & Custom Built Rower Mounder Hiller with Case Ingersoll Tractors.

In this video we will show you how we prepped the ground for our garden we made last year from scratch. HERE we show you how the Case Ingersoll Hydraulic drive rototiller works tilling in vegetation and breaking lawn for a garden expansion. Also using our our custom-built garden rower Hiller Mounder being pulled with a Redone All Hydraulic Ingersoll 4120 and Case 448 Hood Scoop we restored last year. Our shop-built garden row mounder/hiller was designed and built on the fly. This is not a how-to but, just a fun video with us using Case Ingersoll garden tractors and loaders.

Great video. Sure is a nice garden. I’m surprised you don’t make the rows wide enough to use the tractor and a cultivator to control the weeds. That’s what I do. But you lose a lot of planting area doing that. Great row maker. I have something similar. Nice fiddle music too. Have a great day.

Great video, Ryan. I guess the garden isn’t visible from your shop area? Good to know what these machines are capable of, though I’m happy to stick to mowing, plowing, and powering the splitter.

Go buddy go ! We pretty well have all the rocks out after the second year of triple tilling. Now we just have to start removing all the pre 1950 Buicks. We give up on Olds.

It's amazing to me that yall plant in such big beautiful rows. If I try that the tops are so dry everything dies. I have to plant on the flat ground then after plants are well established I row up just a little bit on the edges of the row to create a flat top row with ridges on the edge. This allows me to flood the row tops with pvc pipe or old garden hose that has pinholes every foot after the crop is to tall to sprinkle. Massive upgrade for us this year in that the solar panel/pump allows me to ignore the garden while it waters itself for about an hour for 50 gallons in a 25' sprinkler circle. The slow application means we have 0 run off. Looking forward we will soon have a 100 gallon trailer and 2 sprinkler heads but still try for 50 gallons per hour in two 25' circles. Right now I have a hard time finding dirt in our big garden the tillage radishes have 3' growth and the seed pods are huge and deeeeelicious. We are removing 3-5 plants daily and with our random planting scheme we find a brand new onion or potato or bean plant every single day. I'm amazed that the radish doesn't seem to choke them out. The freezer is full of pods,canning starts soon and the chickens have finally begun to realize the radish stalks are a never ending new food source that doesn't have to be fought over. I'm even using the root as pickles and chips. We are truly a blessed and wealthy people aren't we.

@@cody481 yes the rows work out well, We find the nutrients stay close to the plant, less run off and it also forces the roots down instead of out and makes them go where the moister is down. Also feel the plants stay a bit more tame in rows lol. Radish are great for soil and breaking soil compaction. Lots of dairy farmers plant them around here for no till as hey keep the ground broken up and then root and make good soil. But they plant the giant ones for that purpose. Will have to try the seed pods of the garden radish, never have. What breed of radish are you using? Thanks!

That is awesome, I have a 224 and I am trying to figure out how to connect my tiller, I don’t have a three point hitch. Wondering if I can lift it on this tractor.

Yes you can add 3 point or a sleeve hitch to hook the tiller up. You can ad the hydro pto valve if you don't have one to power the tiller. Let us know if can help.
