Congratulations, long overdue, my all-time favorite lineup by The Spinners is 1972-1976, but you forgot "It's a Shame" from 1970! Co-written by Stevie Wonder on Motown's VIP Records label. The single became the Detroit-reared group's biggest single on Motown Records since they signed with them in 1964 and also their biggest hit in a decade. The song became a huge hit for the group reaching #14 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #3 on the R&B singles chart, making it one of their biggest hits to date. The song was the first song Wonder produced for another act by himself. 😎

The spinners are so special to me because they remind me of driving around Boston in the back of my grand fathers olds mobile. Allow me to express that the Spinners, Dramatics, and Stylistics represent the pinnacle of R&B and Soul music. While the Spinners and Dramatics belong to my mother music era, I, being younger, found myself listening to them in the car, when she is taking me everywhere with her making them a significant part of my musical journey. Now as an adult, while riding in the car in the rain and relistening to those tunes on the way home, you come to realize that those moments represent the chapters of your life. They are, in essence, a salute to the Black Pharaohs of Music.

Rock & Roll Hall.. Why hasn't the Bands that have had radio play every day for over 45 to 50 years been put in yet? Most people today can't name a single Spinners songs. But The Guess Who has had their song "American Woman" played on the radio every day for 53 years. Who doesn't know that song? Foreigner is a complete travesty. They're another band that's not only had radio play every day for over 45 years but had more top 40 hits than most of the people who you've already inducted. No excuse for the disrespect to these hard working musicians that have stamped history for ever..

You’ll induct guys like this too late, PIONEERS/LEGENDS. Everyone else but Mr. Fambrough is deceased. When will you people ever induct other R&B Pioneers like the Dominoes (Originals Billy Ward, Clyde McPhatter, Charlie White, W. Joseph Lamont, and Bill Brown along with later members Jackie Wilson, Gene Mumford, Cliff Givens, and Milton Merle should be inducted as part of that act), Johnny Ace, Mary Wells, I could go on. Appreciate their legacy but try and do it while they’re alive!! I get it some members died before the hall was even a thing or died before induction. That’s ok but do it before there’s no one left. The Dominoes were snubbed in 1997 (yes I’m aware Clyde was inducted twice and Jackie once beforehand) and at the time Billy Ward, Milton Merle, and PRESUMABLY Charlie White were alive! Johnny Ace and Mary Wells were both snubbed in the 80S!! Not one of those 3 acts have been reconsidered since. You guys need to look at impacts rather than profit and what sells tickets. Hell if no one else will induct them (if you guys ever put them in and since all artists I have listed are deceased) I would fly out and induct them myself as a fan! It’s absolutely abhorrent that pioneers are looked over for Rap Acts now too!
