This is exactly the spec I have on the way, thanks for the recommendation on getting the tow package in previous videos. Looks like the SO and 3.92 gears will be great.

Just picked one up. Series 3 Hurricane, I like the blacked out accents of the Carbide but the Carbide was only a series 2 and very low options. It met two major requirements for me…4X4 and although not available in Midnight Sky …(GW) only…

For an inline 6 it sure is a rat’s nest under there. Yeah it has more output the Hemi but the hemi looks clean and you can still get at it to work on. The hurricane with all the plumbing and electronics looks messy.

Hope the Wagoneer 4xe includes this Hurricane engine along with electric motor and big battery -- and Carbide Edition trim.

That would be asking a whole lot out of the transmission to handle that much power. I’d love to see it though! Edit: actually, with the SO Hurricane the 4xe add on wouldn’t be ridiculous numbers. I guess the bigger question is will they mate the Hurricane with the 4xe or tune up the 2.0l. So many possibilities.

4xes are so problematic rather just get the hurricane HO only it's enough power

@@dor1tomcswagger69 Room for improvement but we love our Rubicon 4xe -- Electric Mode is awesome, quiet and clean. No issues here but I'm an engineer and treat the gas engine well. Off-road capable for sure. Looking forward to the Wagoneer 4xe, come on big battery, 35 kWh perhaps?

@@Orcasupreme Your talking about the ZF 8HP that has already seen duty in the Hellcats. I don't think power is an issue for the transmission.

Hey Ben. Have you heard any rumblings of when the Hurricane engine will make it to the Ram 1500? Thinking of purchasing one, but was curious if waiting for the Hurricane would make sense?

Ah yes, the death of the hemi. As long as it doesn't progress past the SUV's I think the hurricane engine is great.
