I test ride and review the 2023 KTM 890 Duke R naked sportbike. I give my impressions of how the bike rides. POV test ride review.
This is KTM's middleweight naked bike. The sportbike has a ton of power and is quick around town. This bike is much faster than the 390 Duke but still has a ways to go to match the 1290 Duke. The R trim features some extras compared to the base model.
This is not a beginner motorcycle by any means. The motorcycle should be ridden by a more experienced rider.

Quickshifter you have to pay for, tech pack also gets track mode which really wakes up the bike and gets you some more adjustability in traction control.... Its a blast to ride and does everything pretty well.....brakes are incredible and tires are sticky af....

I tried one myself last Thursday and it blow my mind. I'm right know between this and the MT 09 SP for my next bike...

Compared to the Z900, which one do you like more? I have a Z from 2021, but i really do like the 2 cilinder engine character and the lightness of this bike.. my only concern is the reliability of ktm 😅

I have the 790 duke 2020, Fun bike but aloooot of problems and annoying inconvenience.

I always wanted one, but I dislike the sound, the iffy suspension and the fact that it’s not a 3 cylinder as the MT09. Just feels like a toy 🧸

Personally I like raw better I don't like Smooth to boring that's why 4-cylinder engines I have a Hayabusa I never thought I'd say this but it's getting boring it's too smooth maybe I like v-twins better keeps me on edge there comes a time when you're skill gets too good on a motorcycle and you get bored that's how I am now i probably need the craziest insane motorcycle out there because I ride only for enjoyment not for transportation you know adrenaline rush maybe I need the KTM 1290 Super Duke GT you think that bike will keep me on my toes you think I'll outgrow that one as well.
