With everything you mentioned, it makes me glad I added the rear seat center arm rest and cup holders to my options list when ordering. I took delivery of my 2022 All4 JCW in REBEL GREEN this past February and couldn’t be happier. Fit, finish, and performance are incredible. I’ve also seen several people get 0-60 in 4.4-4.6. Seems a ton of thought into its design. A wolf in sheeps clothing.

I will own this car one-day. I'm sure there are better out there, but this one has always stuck with me once I started having kids as the "As soon as their out of car seats" dream car.

I have a 2022 countryman JCW and I love it. I didn’t want to buy it but my wife did, as soon as I drove it I loved it. Such a sleeper car!

You are absolutely correct Anthony. I really don't need to go 0-60 any quicker. To be honest I don't need to this fast. I would, just to do it. 300hp, way more than this average Joe would normally use. But again if I had it I would. Good thing my Honda only has a Buck eighty. Catch you on the next one.

I have a 21’ and absolutely love the performance of this car. It has plenty of storage to carry my drums to Gigs in style. My only criticism is it is not a twin powered turbo but a twin scroll turbo that takes the turbo lag to zilch. If you are thinking about a JCW or an S definitely go for the JCW. It will ruin you in a good way. Cheers! I almost forgot. Two things, first there is an option for a fold down dual drink holder and arm rest in the center seat in the rear and second the steering wheel does have adjustment for in and out as well as up and down so drivers of all sizes can find a comfortable driving position. Do I dare say an ultimate driving machine…

I have the 2023 Countryman S and I'm loving it.

Solid review! My question is I just traded in a 2019 and had a rear seat armrest, that feature just needed to be optioned in. Now I did stay in the family and traded up to a 2023 Clubman and the drive profile is very different than the Clubman, but they are two different class vehicles.

I’m currently driving the manual f56 3 door cooper s. It is really really fun and nice looking. But practically always makes me headache in some circumstances. Plus driving a manual car around the London area, really painful 😂 Thinking about the JCW countryman, but as I know the all new 2024 model is on the way and will be released this Q4. Even bigger and stronger, JCW version will have 330hp and 48V system. Really looking forward !

Hehe - EVERY motor reviewer ALWAYS says Apple CarPlay and Android Auto - they can't help themselves - thank you for editing that out in this video! - I really wish Mini would fall in line and add Android Auto. While I'm partial to the Clubman - we've owned two Countryman now and they're very very good - just getting past the idea that they are not-so-mini Minis keeps these from being purchased in larger numbers (well that and the prices being what they are - but keep in mind that these are made by BMW and has a fair amount of luxury - there's value there I believe).

Was the car in sport mode when you recorded the exhaust because it never popped at all didn't seem like the pro valved exhaust it had was open for louder sound?

It's very easy to paint the roof antenna. First, mask it off properly and then spray on apply a layer of bonding primer, then gloss black high quality spray paint and then one layer of spray on gloss clear coat. I did this to the GPS antenna on my gloss black Chevy pickup truck. I did it three years ago and despite exposure to the elements--it still looks great!

I have a ‘17 F56 S with 320hp. Was wondering if this has the same engine as the GP3 and if it is the wet clutch DTC 8spd transmission? One thing I noticed was no JCW Recaro seating. Is that an available option? Also, is their a JCW Pro valved exhaust option available? And one last question. Are there any factory optioned carbon fiber bits available? Thanks!

I used to have a Mini 2012 cooper s all 4 countryman... it was a lemon .... that car for free was expensive as all Minis

I bought a 2018 model it was as good as described regret trading it in for an X1 my advice buy one in BRG it’s a proper colour

Is there any chance in the future that the Countryman could be optioned in a convertible model? I’m 6’3 broad shoulders 250lbs. As much as I love the mini convertible, I’m not sure I’d feel comfortable driving it.

I wish I got one this time but the prices are to high. so hopefully in 3 yrs when my lease is up I get a jcw or im getting a bmw. the standard mini countryman is great but nothing is in it.

I Also bought 2023 mini cooper from dealership when my 2021 Nissan Rogue non turbo version sat in junk yard after total lost after I got rear ended 40 MPH sent my car into striking into large tree trunk my car had 16,900 mile at the time shortest lived car whole thing still functional for scrapping only choice not repairing it at all
