Yeah probably will go a bit higher, just think the lack of burst severely limits him as a player in the halfcourt, the finishing is still worrisome, but he’s improved in a lot of areas and still found a way to impact the game when he’s shots not falling!

Yeah he’s a special talent, just think if you’re going to take a guy that high you’d want a primary option. Brandon Miller could probably be a #2 or #3, but he’s limited because of his lack of rim-pressure & he is a full 18 month older than guys like Cam Whitmore or Dariq Whitehead.

It's kind of the difference between a Big Board vs Mock draft. A top prospect might fall because of needs of the team and fit of the player. Still, it's a weird placements because they're pretty stacked in the front court

Couldn't tell you. But I Think if Wemby is drafted to the Pistons, Magic, Hornets they could definitely be in the mix for the playoffs. would be harder at the Rockets or spurs but still possible.

Yeah I was thinking about that fit, just really unsure of what they're thinking rn. I'd take a swing on him for sure, & if you can surround him with + defenders you have a really good team, but I don't even think the Nets know what their team will look like next season.

@@JBHOOPS100 true, but I think they are back to the talent development acquisition mode, and length is a big part of what the Nets are trying to accomplish especially at the wings. They might even look for more size at the power forward and center position. I think unless you’re a really really special and dynamic small guard you’re gonna get exposed defensively with all the length if you’re between 6”7 and 6”9 you have an incredible amount of value in the NBA teams are gonna wanna collect a lot of those type of guys.

Haha. Houston have been rough, the Pistons have some talent, Jalen Duren has been great, just sucks that Cade is out for the szn. But I think Scoot & Wemby are so incredible that they’ll be able to turn any franchise around.

Yeah i think there's pros & cons. Ivey getting tons of on-ball reps is good, & he's improved as a playmaker, but you can also develop bad-habits in those environments. OKC has been the best out of every young/ rebuilding team & they really maximise their guys & emphasise winning habits.

@@JBHOOPS100 100% agree I hate how OKC sits players but they definitely do help them improve. As a Spurs fan I’m just use to seeing young kids grow so I get frustrated seeing teams give up on players or not fix their problems early. For example Sochan was bad at free throws so spurs made him shoot 1 handed to get new muscle memory and he’s improved dramatically already. I feel like In Detroit and Houston they would have just been okay with him not having a good shot. I definitely think Houston is worse then Detroit though and I’m a fan of Ivey he has potential to be a top 10 player in the league they just need to keep working with him

Yeah Houston have had some rough moments this szn, but I’d really like Scoot or Even Amen Thompson for them as well. I have a feeling the Spurs will get #1 like they did with David Robinson & Tim Duncan. But whoever lands him is going to have Their whole franchise transformed anyway, can’t wait to see him in the league!

I don’t think the offense needs to be catered to him, it just has been throughout his career. He’s an elite shooter & would benefit playing off of high lvl playmakers. I just had the Knicks taking him because I think he’s a 1st rd talent & I don’t think there’s anyone really available that would crack the Knicks rotation anyway.

Yeah Council has been great recently, just not sold on his jumper & that makes it harder for him to get to the rim if the D isn't respecting his shot. Walsh is also almost 3 yrs younger & a special defensive prospect. But they're both in that 25-35 range for me rn.

Yeah it’s hard at the top. I just personally think Scoot is way too good to worry about fit. You have to try and make it work or move Ivey, but you could also just trade back & get a haul for the pick. But Scoot is simply to elite to pass up on imo.

Yeah definitely still streaky, but I think he’s improved as a passer & had some solid moments defensively. Emoni’s lvl of Shotcreation & deep shooting at 6’10 is very rare. Still a lot of upside, but I think some teams will be hesitant, just needs the right fit both on and off-court.

It’s actually got some big time talent in it & I like some of their rules. The Finals between the YNG Dreamers & City Reapers was very high lvl basketball. It’s just that Amen & Ausar are a few years older than a lot of the comp, but I think the whole league is great for development, especially for the younger guys who’ll go to college in a year or 2.

Djurisic is probably the closest to the 1st round for me, but he’s just been really inconsistent. Also not very high on Rupert, has cool flashes but still very raw & inconsistent on both ends.

Idk about Anthony Black, seems a bit redundant with Giddey & is a non-shooter. Think they take a Big Wing/ forward. Jarace would be ideal, but they won’t be picking that high & it’d be hard to trade for him. So a GG, Jett, Dariq, Hendo probably their targets in that tier.

They have tons of picks so they could trade up, i just think to trade up to get a guy like Jarace would cost a good young player + a lot of picks, & i don't think they have that player outside of SGA, Giddey, Chet & JDub who they're not trading. & all the teams with top 7 or so picks are not going to give one up for future picks that might not have much value.

Yeah he’s been good at the college lvl, & great defensively, just not sure how his game translates to the nba, where he won’t get many middies. Poor finisher inside & a streaky shooter. Might be a 2nd rounder, but I don’t see him being taken in the 1st.

@@JBHOOPS100 Yeah I don't know if they will either. Depending on where their picks end up I'd really love to see them package all of their 2023 picks to move up. They need a premium talent. But that type of trade doesn't happen very often. And in this draft I don't think many teams will want to move down. I'm really frustrated that we didn't trade some of these vets before the season. If we did something similar to that Jazz/Lakers/Wolves trade before the season I think we would easily be with those other bottom 4 teams right now.

Yeah I’m not really sure what the plan was, we’re never good enough to make the play-offs, but now hurt their lottery odds. Still a fun team, but it was a bit weird that Clarkson/ Olynyk didn’t get traded.

Appreciate it. I think if they get 2 they have to take Scoot regardless of who they have on their team. He’s just that good. I think Whitmore or Brandon Miller would be good fits, but you can’t pass up on Scoot if you have the chance, have to try and make it work, trade back or trade Ivey. Id just go with the 3 guard lineup tho, they can all defend & have decent size.
