Watching these videos just keeps reminding me that I don't NEED a tablet. I WANT one. The features are amazing, but with a laptop that converts into a tablet and has a pen (although very heavy), and a high end phone, my work flow is perfect. I never feel like I'm undervaluing any product, as I'm using them both at all times, and a third one would just become a hassle.

If you have a laptop a tablet is a want and not a need. If I had a tablet I would use it for tasks too small for a phone and don't feel like turning on my laptop. Reading is probably the best use of a tablet.

I am looking into buying a new tablet after having Huawei Mediapad M5 10" for 4 years. It's been the best tablet for me and would love to stick with Huawei however the fact there're no more Google services means I have to look elsewhere. You have such great content and review videos - always helpful. Not to mention your video quality, transitions, video framing and use of blur and panning. Top notch stuff. As a daily Windows and Mac user I have always loved the form factor of the Surface Pro line and with the new SP 8 and pen it is pretty impressive. Also, Best Buy will price match so that can be beneficial. Unfortunately I’m one of those who really needs iOS/OS specific apps so my choice is obvious.

There is pretty much a tablet for everyone. Depends on what you use the tablet for is pretty much the #1 question for most. Mine was the Tab S7, cause it's the tablet that sparked my interest in tablets again after being an Apple user for a very long time. I may want to get my mom a Tab A8 or Tab S8, cause she just wants to do media and web browsing. Can I appreciate what this channel has done for me? If I hadn't watched, I wouldn't have been able to love my tablet just as much. Thanks for all you've done man.

Great tutorial! I purchased the base model wi-fi iPad Mini 6 shortly after is was released and it has been perfect for all of my needs. The display and speakers really impress me, and it's great for travel since it fits nicely in my laptop bag.

Hello sir is ppi important for tablets, most tablets stick to 240-270 ppi. Will the text be blurry? Wat is the ideal viewing distance for a tablet for text to appear sharp when reading books.

In case of you, samsung s7/s8 and ipad air 4/5 would give you unnecessary amounts of power. If you want to use your tablet for a long time both tablets are obviously good. If you have an iphone you'll like ipads more. If you have an android phone you can adapt to both of them but I'd like a samsung for video watching.

I'm thinking about the Air 5 but it doesn't make sense to me to buy the 256Gb version vs. the Pro 11. My question is, since you have USB-C on the air, and there are a ton of available external storage options, doesn't that make the 64GB option a pretty good buy? Or is the performance on those ext storage units just not there? I'm thinking I would use external storage for movies etc.

64GB is more than it seems as long as you have other storage options. I use iCloud to backup all my photos, videos, notes, and the like, and I would regardless of how much or little storage my devices had, because I want my data saved in the event of my iPad being lost or broken. So whether my photos can be stored directly on device isn’t a big factor to me. If you absolutely need 256GB, Apple Refurbished has an iPad Air 4 256GB for a lower price and it still has a very fast A14 chip.

I loved the samsung s8+ as my second monitor for my gaming computer. I used superdisplay app + superdisplay window up to display 120hz and the native tablet resolution. (the built in app locks it at 60 at 1080p). its great being able to have a oled touch screen built in battery thats a ~13inch portable monitor. A lot of portable monitors are 15.6inch, vast majority is only 60hz and requires an external power source. Double down by doing basic task as well multitasking while at work then as a monitor at home. It's really neat that all it need is a usb c to usb-a port into your computer's usb port. Its a different experience to play a pc game with geforce game filters on a much higher resolution oled monitor (main monitor is 240hz 1080p)

Right now, I have the iPad Pro 2017 and rly need an update. I feel like it is going to die soon. I bought it second hand, so the condition wasn’t that good from the beginning. Now that I’m earning money, I’m planning to buy a new iPad Pro. The next one is coming in September, so I don’t know if waiting makes sense. The rumours about the new Pro being in a horizontal version is a nice to have, but I don’t know if that’s worth the waiting. Cause right now, I barely use my iPad, but in two weeks university starts again and I‘ll need my iPad for at least 9 hours a day in the university. Until now everything was online, so I didn’t have any problems. But now, I’ll be outside. It’ probably possible with an external battery which I have, but it’s not so convenient, especially because of the additional heat where I sometimes think it’s going to explode 😣 What should I do? Should I wait for the newest Version? Or just upgrade now? I just don’t know what to do 😭

I need a decent size tablet with at least 1 USB c port for transfer of video to a separate monitor or TV. This will be used as a karaoke screen for typically about up to 4 singers to view at the same time. It's almost impossible to find one with that simple port that doesn't cost a fortune. Such a pain shopping for something that should be simple.

For storage you can buy a Samsung 128gb class 10 SDXC U3 A2 microSD card for £12.99 which works with any tablet with an SD card slot. Go with the smallest storage on the base model and buy a card. Its cheaper 100% of the time. Almost every tablet will take a micro SD (except apple because they want to milk you for all you are worth by charging £150 to upgrade from 64gb to 256gb). Also this buying guide is really good.

I am a engineering student entered college this year I am on a budget My father actually wasted his money to buy me a i3 2 core laptop during covid for online classes which works worse during assignments and reports and other stuff I am thinking to sell this and then buy a tablet and a pc for complex engineering problems ( because i don't like to use laptops as i am not able to use it comfortably and i like working on a pc ) and i would be using remote connection for using the pc in class Which tablet should i choose ( i have preference towards samsung and will buy android ) I dont often like using Stylus for notes but still would use it if it is included and i love gaming as well So which tablet is better choice for me and i would be multitasking also I have been researching about Samsung Tab A9 Plus ( Snapdragon 695 + 8 gb Ram + 128 GB Storage ) Samsung Tab S6 Lite ( Snapdragon 720G + 4 GB Ram + 64GB Storage ) These both are running at same price at my place I am worried about the screen size though because i would be using my pc remotely with the tablet so i need a bit bigger display as well but i think 10 to 11 inches is big enough for me

And you can also install Android apps on the Surface. So the Surface would be the best tablet if you also want Android. It would be better when you can finally dual boot Android and Windows.

@@TechGearTalk Mostly, yeah. I would've considered the S8 since it's a $129 upgrade with trade-in right now but that gets me almost nothing in return. I've also never owned a tablet above 11 inches, and it's something that seems really useful for notetaking. I struggle to take notes on my Mini 6 but the size counters that. Both tablets end up a part of my usage.

It depends on how you mean it. Most people don't use the full power of flagship tablets right now.

In your opinion, what would your tablet selection be if you were a person that tends to take your tablet pretty much everywhere you go but also uses it at your desk to stream KZfaq/Netflix, etc and pair the tablet to a Bluetooth speaker? Yes, that person would be me lol.

Can someone tell me what kind of tablet I should buy? This is what I will do on it 1. Writer-I love to write short stories. 2. Listen to music-i would download Amazon music. 3. Play games I play hidden object games and shooting games like dead trigger. And I started playing Very Little Nightmares. 4 watch KZfaq, prime video and Netflix.

No talk about how much RAM is needed or processor speed??? I wanted one for viewing KZfaq and streaming sports games. Also do any tablets have HDMI outputs??? Can they "Cast" to the TV??? Do they have blue tooth for headphones??? Very incomplete video imho.

Tablets cannot be laptop replacements for me. I don't like touch screen laptops (they are expensive and I also don't like fingerprints on my screen). Desktop operating systems are very comfortable for me and tablets just have a big screen with a phone inside. The ones that try to get in the middle ground like the Microsoft one you've mentioned in this video are good, but I prefer having a laptop whose screen doesn't need a stand for support

Having owned tablets before they really became a tablets(media players), I have had many brands and appreciate them on all levels. I have owned android tablets, Amazon fire and iPads, I find that iPad make the best tablets and will always look towards apple. My advice is always if you are going to pay iPad money for a tablet buy an iPad, I do feel maybe I should look harder at Samsung or Microsoft tablets but it’s hard to switch

@@TechGearTalk Me too. I'd assume an Air 3 design with the A14, but they could also keep the current design, then give the iPad 11 the Air 4's design in 2023, while upgrading the current Air with M2 and some Pro features (like Lidar and the Ultrawide?)

@@Photo0021 I agree, budget iPad generally follow what iPad Air had done previously. At this point we are going to see the form of iPad Air 3 design, with Air 4 internals. Let’s call it Air 3.5
