@@fillsgarage I’m also waiting for the refresh. My biggest problem with Tesla now is the lack of color choices, especially the interior. This can be a turn off for me. I really hope they come out with a two toned tan interior. It appears that screen can be intimidating, is it? Any news about how long before the refresh should be available? Thanks for your info, I’m a subscriber now.

I agree I wish they would offer more choices as well but I think that is one of the reasons they are able to control costs, less variavles

Ive been waiting for 3 years til the price came down and saving for a nice down payment. Im from Canada and my brother bought the model 3 rwd 2-3 years ago and after all fees. taxes and no government incentive this car was pretty much $70,000 here@@fillsgarage . The car just cost me $53,000 total with the $5000 gov incentive.. plus it was on sale to get rid of 2023 inventory. So I jumped on it. So pumped. Me and the wife are going to watch your video before picking it up on Monday. Its the blue one, looks fantastic

Great video! I’m currently trying to decide which to get, either the 23 Model 3 RWD or the 2020 or 2021 Model 3 Long Range and now add a 4th option the new refresh. I would imagine there would be a decent drop in price in older models when the new Model 3 (Highland) debuts, what do you think?

Thank You very much. I agree there should definitely be a price drop closer to when the refresh comes out. I would recommend looking at their current inventory to see if there are any new ones with discounts. I just made a video on the model Y as some are 4 to 5k off the normal price. I would also say that a new one maybe better than a pre owned because of tax credit.

I'm 33 months into owning an M3 LR and wish I had got the standard range. I'm retired and don't even use the car everyday and really don't have any use for all the power available on this car. I do like having a subwoofer for tops in sound quality but not using it everyday, it's kinda wasted on me. Saves some money and get the standard range but, please, wait for the highland update in the US. It also uses an iron phosphate battery chemistry so that's a plus. I get 265 charged to 80%. The standard range gets the same at 100%.

I wish Tesla would add the option to spec the full premium interior on the standard range.

You are only able to select the white and black interior like you can on the long range and performance no?

@@fillsgarage yes but it won’t come with the full speaker setup, heated rear seats and some other features.

None thus far, however the blinker was loose when the car was picked up and had to call them out to look at it and turned out it was a loose screw. Are you getting a lot of wind noise?

Do you think the Standard Range Model Y RWD worth the upgrade for additional $5k?

It really depends on your needs to be honest. The model Y is a bit bigger and taller so if you need more space it maybe the better car. Maybe setup a free test drive and drive both see which you prefer

My 2020 model 3 just died after reaching 100,000 miles. Replacing the battery costs $13,222 If you want to pay more than $40,000 +++ on a car to only last 100,000 miles! Good luck' 🍀 Tesla offered a trade-in when I was in his shop with my car there and they already diagnosed it… first 13,200… then 13,800! They tried to sign me into a new Model 3, I agreed to pay the $250 they requested to start the trade-in. One day before closing, they send me a new exchange worth… $4,000!! I didn't accept because they changed the terms! #scam #scamalert #tesla they keep my $250

Wow. I am very sorry to hear that. You have the rear wheel drive version? That is very disappointing to hear. I would fight with them call corporate call Elon out on X because the RWD has a 8 yr/100k warranty and sounds like you are barely over that the other model 3 have a 8yr/120k battery. Keep me posted.
