I have the Limited version from Japan and it came fully loaded including glass sun roof. It doesn't open which is perfect for me because I hate wind noise. The roof may not open but it goes CLEAR with a button so you get a lot more light if you want. It also has heated and cooled seats and heated steering wheel. The only option available to me was a cargo mat. Great SUV...love it.

@@loveandlaughter6542 no I bought from a dealer in Ottawa but it was built in Japan and was on a boat coming here when my deal finalized

I also have the limited and just took it for it's first road trip, averaged 38 - 39 mpg on the freeway, and around town it's 40+ mpg easy.

I owned a 2022 venza hybrid limited I love it good on gas very comfortable and quiet lexus like interior but sadly in canada not offer a nightshade edition thanks for sharing your video take care bye from milton Ontario Canada

Great comparison. We bought our ‘22 Venza XLE in Blizzard Pearl after driving a friend’s ‘21 Venza. His Venza XLE was delivered to the dealer in San Diego with what looks like a Night Shade model. Blacked out wheels and some trim. It came from Japan with those items blacked out. I wonder if the Japanese market ‘21 Harrier (what the Venza is called in Japan) was offered with those blacked-out items and my friend’s Venza was delivered to the dealer to see how buyers would respond. He bought it shortly after it was off-loaded from the delivery truck.

I own the XLE coastal gray 2023. I love it. It’s like driving a Lexus. It’s the missing Lexus. It’s a great car and I love going on long trips with it. I’ve had it 2 months and already have 2K miles on it. Love it and would highly recommend it to everyone. Only caveat. I wish they had named this missing Lexus with a new name. The old Venza had lukewarm reviews. Hate for this vehicle stigmatized by the predecessor’s negatives, which is mediocre at best. PS all the Venza are made in Japan. 100% parts and build.

Its far from a Lexus. I think this is the noisiest suv on the road. Terrible tire and wind noise

Is it easier and faster in getting the venza considering the chip shortage that is making getting a rav4 hybrid as rare as seeing lions mating in the wild?

I dislike the black on side mirrors, door handles, antenna, etc. if I could add the sunroof to the regular xle gray version it would be ideal. I had the two tone. The color matched side mirrors, dooor handles, etc. looks more luxury to me.

Great review. Would you say this is similar to a Subaru Outback? If so how does it compare? I do realize this is a Hybrid vehicle.

Thanks Anthony. Yes you realize it’s a hybrid. Engine can be a bit noisy taking off from a stop. This is an SUV. The Outback is a lifted wagon, so they aren’t that similar in that perspective. Both are AWD. Both are good entries in the market. All comes down to personal preference.

Can you add JBL speakers to the Nightshade version? On the Toyota website, it says the option is available but there is no such package when I am building it. thanks.

I like the night shade better than the XLE, what about the Limited though? I think the panoramic window is different on the Limited, has the gas operation. Star gazing . ❤. Ready to order my 2024!

Manufacturers give you less and less for more money nowadays. Buy used when prices stabilize instead. Let someone smarter than you take the first hit buying new.

You did not mention how quiet it is on the road. Venza are not that quiet it is reported. Car Care Nut reviewed it. Watch it. But he did say it has Lexus like touches. I have an RX 350 2021

Car care Nut is amazing. I always watch his videos. He was the one that also expressed dismay that they released as a Venza instead of naming it with its own name. Watch ALL his videos. He even tells you the hidden secret features in these cars which you won’t find and no dealer will tell you. Example. There is no actual mute button but you can hold down the mode button and it mutes the music/radio. Superb.

Basically paying $1100 more for the same car with a bunch of blacked out paint, what a joke. I rather take some of that money and add the JBL speakers with the XLE trim, skipping the gimmicky roof that doesn't open.

The nightshade definitely fit my demographic perfectly. I'm 33 and wanted a Lexus like SUV without the cost. Without the black accents the Venza definitely is reserved for late 30's if even, and up. Very pleased with it. Got it in the wind chill pearl white so looks elegantly sleek in the nightshade without drawing too much attention like the ruby chill nightshade would have done (I work at hospital in an inner city area). Also Toyota just updated their software over the air today so you can access multi apps at once on the touchscreen. Very happy about seeing google maps and my Spotify at the same time

@@tangotea7192 lol exactly, you are the target customer base for the non-nightshade Venza. It’s still a beautiful ride of course but I probably wouldn’t have bought it if there wasn’t a nightshade edition

This is got to be the worst 😢review ever. Try learning your cars that you are promoting. Both cars are very different. The panoramic roof is a fixed roof and it has two modes frosted view and clear view to loot at the sky and stars. There's more if you read more.
