In their first matchup of the tournament the Slovakian and Canadian Women went at it in a great game that would set us up for another incredible matchup later on.
The score was even after 1 but the Canadian gals pulled ahead in the second and third period. The outcome would spark both teams as they would later meet in the Gold Medal Match at the 2023 World Junior Ball Hockey Championships in Liberec, Czechia.
