Offside in ball hockey is different from ice hockey. Once the attacking team gains the blue, the zone extends out to the red for a larger offensive zone.

I’ve played dek hockey for a while and I’ve seen this and it shouldn’t have been a penalty. It’s a simple stick lift. He just wasn’t holding his stick tight enough 😂

Unsporstmanlike conduct. You can't stick lift when there is no intention to play the ball.

Probably because that much gear takes up more space, making it harder for the opponent to score. Look how much bigger ice leg pads are than ball shin pads. It can't be about protection.
