Destination: Wilson Creek Gorge, NC - Part 3
My son, Jeff was camping at the Mortimer campground in the Wilson Creek Gorge for the week of June 03, 2024. This video contains a continuation of his adventure on Wednesday, June 05, 2024. This video starts where the previous video left off at Forest Service Road 4068. From here he continues down Thorps Creek Falls Trail to the Mortimer Campground. Please note, this trail is no longer maintained, therefore it hard to find the trail at times, and lots of blow downs you will have to maneuver over/around. Come along and enjoy the beautiful scenery in these wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains. Hope you enjoy.
