FORBIDDEN PLANET 은 개별적인 세 개의 트랙을 엮어 만든 작품이다.
작품의 제목은 1956년에 개봉한 미국의 SF 영화 'FORBIDDEN PLANET'의 제목을 가져왔다. 첫 번째 트랙에서 'DIGITAL'을 통해 'ETHER'에 도달하고자 하는 메시지를 전달하고, 두 번째 트랙의 '502 BAD GATEAWAY'와 세 번째 트랙의 'HYPERVORTEX'를 지나 이름 없는 그리고 지도에 없는 행성으로의 여정을 표현한다. 그곳은 나 자신을 만날 수도 있고 나 자신을 잃어버릴 수도 있는 FORBIDDEN PLANET이다.
FORBIDDEN PLANET is a work created by combining three individual tracks.
The title of the work is taken from the American science fiction film 'FORBIDDEN PLANET', released in 1956. This work delivers the message of reaching 'ETHER' through 'DIGITAL' in the first track, through '502 BAD GATEAWAY' in the second track and 'HYPERVORTEX' in the third track,
it expresses a journey to an unnamed and unmapped planet.It is a FORBIDDEN PLANET where I can meet myself and lose myself.
_TRACK 01. DIGITAL ETHER
ETHER는 이와이 슌지 감독의 영화 '릴리 슈슈의 모든 것'에 등장하는 단어이다.
(과거 물리학에서 ETHER는 빛의 매질로 여겨졌으나 마이컬슨-몰리 실험에 의해 우주 공간을 채우고 있는 빛의 매질은 존재하지 않음이 증명) 이 영화의 주인공에게 ETHER는 구원이자 영원이며 그것은 릴리에게만 존재하는 것이라고 말한다. ( 릴리는 뮤지션 ) 이 곡은 Sine Wave 및 Additive Synthesis의 활용을 통해 제작되었으며 이 영화의 대사 중 'The ether fills the universe'를 디지털 신호인 이진수로 변환하였다. '0'과 '1' 그리고 '띄어쓰기'는 이 곡의 조성에 맞춰진 음의 높이가 적용된 사인파의 지속적인 리듬으로 재현한다.
ETHER is a word that appears in director Shunji Iwai's film 'All About Lily Chou Chou'. (In past physics, ETHER was considered a light medium, but the Michelson-Morley experiment proved that the light medium that fills outer space does not exist.) For the main character of this film, ETHER is salvation and eternity, and it exists only for Lily. (Lily is a musician) This song was produced through the use of Sine Wave and Additive Synthesis. I converted the line from this movie, 'The ether fills the universe', into a digital signal, binary number. '0', '1', and 'spacing' are expressed as a continuous rhythm of a sine wave with a pitch adjusted to the key of this song.

502 BAD GATEWAY는 두 서버 간의 통신 문제가 있을 때 출력되는 인터넷에서 일반적으로 사용되는 HTTP 오류 코드로
이 곡은 Frequency Modulation Synthesis의 활용을 통해 제작되었다.
