The Clinic was a blast! It felt cinematic to me, like it was playing out on screen as I watched it - I would love to see this adapted for Neflix or something! And that cover art for Diavola has me in a stranglehold! I'd love to know who the artist is and I know publishers are way better at sharing that infomation than they were in days of yore, but weirdly I am having a hard time finding out who it is!

I also have a Netgalley arc for The Clinic 😃 i also have an arc for Beacon Street. I haven't heard of some of the books you mentioned so thanka for adding to my tbr. Again, sorry for the random comment Erin. I'm the Clive Barker guy. I didn't know where else to place this comment. I recommend Books of Blood Vol. 1-3 by Clive Barker for you. I am a writer myself and his writing has had a LOT of influence on me. In my opinion, Clive Barker writes beautifully like a painting, but his content his very disturbing.

Read Sisters of the Lost Nation first. It looks like Noemi is a character from Sisters of the Lost Nation so this is a continuation story taking place in the same community.

I will be! I don’t think it’ll matter too much for the story though. Since it’s not part of a series, they’ll probably both be able to be read on their own! I’m doing it more just to make sure I like the writing haha.
