Thanks for posting this well-framed race. I have no idea who -- if anyone -- streamed the 2-day CIF State meet, even though I pay for like six track streaming services. This is like before legal pot; I gotta go to you for the sticky icky icky. The 4x4 has to be considered the most exciting event at the State meet. The pass after that outstanding Wilson third leg lost a more comfortable lead. That guy looked like he was ready to run the anchor himself, he came in so fast. I'm going back to the previous state-qualifying meets to see how those races compare. What a huge disparity between first and last after the third turn. Watching the CIF-SS state-qualifying meets is like watching a dramatic weekly series.

Love this comment. And yes…the 4x4 is always exciting. Cathedral has been in the final 3 years in a row, plus SS Masters, Arcadia and Mt Sac, so I’ve had an up close view of it all. Didn’t win them all, but they were still amazing. We take these videos so our family and friends who are unable to attend, still get a touch of the magic glad you enjoy them too. Oh..and…the full meet is on ca.milesplit

@@CathedralPhantomEliteTrack Yes, I have to acknowledge Cathedral's well-rounded team and consistent high performances throughout the state-qualifying process. I should have done that the first time when I saw your handle. I don't promote the use of recreational drugs. The "sticky icky icky" reference is a funny-sounding metaphor (it has 3 comedy-k sounds), especially since it's 35 years old.

Wow, that Wilson third leg was the difference maker in that race. Looked very relaxed and made his move at the right time. Curious who he is and if he ran the 400m finals as well?

He’s JT Kramer. He was on the 800m final. I think he finished 6th or 7th. Wilson won the race because 1 thru 4 they’re the deepest
