Interesting comparison. It seems like the Leaf should have been compared to the Chevy Bolt while The Equinix EV should be compared to the Nissan Ariya.

Money my friend. Money. You can get an Ultium vehicle with no limitations in the Honda Prologue, carplay, android auto and their own navigation system. Honda made a better Ultium vehicle.

Why would you compare the Leaf and Equinox? A more appropriate comparison would have been the Chevy Bolt vs Nissan Leaf.

Waiting for the Equinox EV ❤ got already the Bolt EUV premier and I love it, so the Equinox should be an improvement and I use Google Android Auto I hope the Equinox system should not be that much difference actually maybe better.

I hate to say it folks, but GM has a huge winner with this Equinox. I hope they don’t screw it up like the new EV Blazer and its horrendous software issues. Good city only automotive choices. Not designed for highway or “longer” range usage. Get that Apple CarPlay GM! No CarPlay no sale. 🙈

Sorry, but the Leaf is an antique. I know it has a lot of enthusiasts, but everything about it is extremely dated. Having said, I'd wait until Chevy incorporates NACS in the Equinox before buying one.

The competitors would be the the Kona EV, the Bolt or the Kia Niro EV. The Equinox is a pretty large EV with the option of AWD. It’s not going to be cheap either as I doubt we’ll be seeing the lower end version for a while. Who knows when we’ll even see it. So KBB decided to compare the Nissan leaf to a car that’s in a whole other category and is not currently for sale. Hmmm.

My current car is too old to have Android Auto. So I have no idea what I'm missing out on. lol. Equinox EV looks good to me.

If you really have to get an Ultium based vehicle, then the Honda Prologue is hands down your best decision. GM bringing us back to 1995 without Android Auto and Carplay, should be protested. Their greed should be met with pitchforks and torches.😂

I don't understand why ppl are made there is no android Auto, I get apple car play(just because it's a different OS). But Google makes Android Auto so instead of having a watered down version of Android you get the full system pretty much. And it's not like all the other functions of connecting your phone to your is not there. But in the end for $100-$200 you can add 9.5"-11" carpuride(or equivalent) to your dash and still have either car play or android Auto.

The biggest difference between the two is that the Leaf is a real vehicle and the Equinox ev is a GM dream . Remember the Equinox ev was initially supposed to be launched in 2023 .

I bet if nissan made a Nissan leaf nismo it would stay around longer now this is the last year for it all well. If nissan unveiled the nissan Ariya nismo then surely nissan can make a nissan leaf nismo just saying

Ultium is a cluster. Equinox probably won’t be on sale until 2025 or maybe it will cancelled. Leaf, while uncompetitive in 2024, is at least on sale. Good luck with Chademo in 5 years.
