They aren't meant to replace every vehicle right now in every scenario. It may not fit for your use case, but for many it will.

Totally agree. It’s not for everyone. It’s all preference and affordability. We loved it though. One of our favourite EV’s so far. Thanks for sharing.

I just bought one and I love it. The features in this car is insane... And what is really cool is I make the batteries. I work at all to ultiumcells so to buy something that I help build is really cool watching these videos and these vehicles getting good ratings is just really awesome. Makes me feel like I got job security lol...

Thanks for watching and the comment. Here in Canada there was a pretty hard line drawn in the sand that EV's will be 100% of sales by 2036. It's a tall order, but as you said, it should be promising regarding your job whether it's here in Canada or anywhere else.

One thing people don't know, because GM is using there own Google interface. You don't physically have to touch the buttons on the screen. Such as Google Maps. All you have to say is hey google maps. Voice command controls a lot of functions that you physically do not have to touch. Also, the battery range if you program navigation for a destination maps will show you what your battery range will be at but. As you are driving to that destination, the vehicle will recalculate the battery range and you will have gained four percent by the time you reach your destination.

I love seeing 2 old folks complain about 1 pedal driving. It isn't that hard to learn new ways! If you drove a clutch and knew how to downshift, 1 pedal driving should come easy to you.

Thanks for the comment. We do drive manual cars and we do down shift in them. One pedal driving is easy even without knowing how to drive stick. We never said it wasn’t. We just don’t prefer it. Luckily there are other options in the. Blazer EV. Thanks for watching anyway. Hopefully two old guys didn’t ruin your entire day. :)

I had put my deposit down for this when first announced. No car play for me was a deal breaker. Also needs shifted so got a Tacoma. Still the Blazer looks good. Maybe as second vehicle in future.

Tacoma is a great choice too. We just reviewed that not too long ago. The no CarPlay approach is interesting. Toyota avoided CarPlay when it first came out and did their own thing. That obviously didn’t last. So it’s interesting that Chev is deciding to leave CarPlay. We will see how it CarPlays out. See what we did there? Thanks for watching.

I think Chevrolet may have hit the sweet spot with the Blazer. The average guys car that has great utility.

@@HoodSlappersOfficial only because new ev auto makers don't try as hard. Tesla, Rivian, Lucid and even Ford can do it... The only thing under the plastic is a spaghetti mess of tubes that could be tightened up just like any company with real leadership. Missed opportunity.

Evs are just not realistic at this time no matter the hype, they are bad in cold and replacing batteries is costly..In fact even making the batteries is harmful to the environment.

You are wrong but keep pretending that paying $4 just to drive 15-30 miles is fine. I got a ev and to love it so much i will be replacing other ice cars ASAP. 😊
