its not rare, exclusive, high quality etc. enough to be a supercar. its just a fast sportscar like a porsche 718 gts/gt4 or bmw m4. the c7 zr1, 718 gt4 rs and m4 csl are all supercars though.

Yeah, I’m starting to realize people have much higher expectations of GM than any other auto manufacturer - especially American auto manufacturers. Speculating that the zr1 will have the twin turbo z06 engine and rwd. Zora will have twin turbo z06 engine with hybrid awd for around 900-1000hp - Jakub

It's the best version of the c8 they've made. I like corvettes with a grumble not a scream like the z06 and the base c8 has weird proportions that the z06 fixed so this has all the right things, the body of the z06 and the engine of the stingray

My prediction is the ZR1 will had a hybrid power train. The Zora will do the same with more powerful motors and 4 wheel drive. GM spent a lot of time working on the induction intake to make this a NA monster. I doubt they will want to super or turbo charge. The later will impact the sound negatively, see youtube vids of folks that turbocharged their Z06, doesn't sound so great (relatively)

Turbo S does the 1/4 0.4 seconds faster, with a 7mph faster trap speed, so no. Do not drag race a Turbo S in this car, you will get a bus length put on you.

@@dyl6085 0.4 seconds at the drag strip is the difference between a 992 Turbo S and a Bugatti Chiron, so yeah. When it comes to cornering, I'd love nothing more than to be wrong and watch the E-Ray put down faster lap times than the Turbo S, but it's hard to think of tracks and roads where it would have an advantage.

Collective income between my wife and I is over 160k a year. She makes 120k herself. She was on the market for a new car 1 month ago. Keep in mind at this point we already have 3 SUVs in the driveway. I told her,get a stingray! Guess what she gets....a brand new 2024 4Runner TRD pro with 11 miles on it . 😒😒😒😒. Granted yes we live in Alaska. So She made the "smart choice". But we already had 3 Alaska vehicles. For the same price She could've got a stingray. I moch her everyday. But she keeps insisting the stingray is not practical. Idda bought that shit anyways. Smh.
