2024 Elections | Papa Penny confident MK Party can unseat ANC

A well-known former ANC councillor and musician, who recently joined the MK Party, is confident that his party can unseat the ruling party during next week's general elections. Disco legend, Erik Nkovani - popularly known as Papa Penny, resigned as an ANC member and councillor in the Greater Giyani Municipality last week. The ANC in the region, however, believes Nkovani's departure will have no impact on their performance in the elections.

Penny wanted to be a mayor and to achieve that, it means he needed to be the regional chairperson of Capricon or at least be a sub-region chairperson to be local municipality mayor if not Polokwane city mayor and he failed dismally to get votes in the ANC🤞💯 Now he thinks he can get a position in Limpopo legislation with MK which is much bigger than local majorship and he would never reach that level with ANC💯🤞 So penny penny is just looking for something to support his large family with many wives as his music is no longer sustaining him and ANC didn't give him any position but just made him a PR councilor which is nothing because he earns just closer to R20k in that local municipality, while district municipality councillors earn closer to R27k... that's why he wanted the ANC to make him a mayor so he can get closer to R70k after tax salary as mayor with all those benefits💯🤞 Either way ANC has betrayed majority people in this country and their leaders are so arrogant and dishonest🤞💯
