yeah it really sucks when it does it. If you actually launch it right the truck sometimes decides hello must pull power sometimes its like he said it bogs it makes you feel like its a delayed shift so you're not smacking gears with 1050-1200 depending on the PS you have. A tune fixed that issue. My dually 2021 went from 15.5-15.7 in the quarter too 13.8s with no extra power. ❤I expected that the Toyota Tundra would win. It is true that the Ford and the Sierra have more horsepower and more torque, but they are three times heavier than the Tundra, because the Tundra is lighter than them, a difference of more than 300 kilograms, and it is closer to the ground than the Sierra and the Ford F-150. This gives you more aerodynamics, but In the end, they are cars that are not designed for drag racing. They are not suitable for rough and difficult roads, towing, and loading things.

Not gonna lie,I never expected the toyota to be competitive given the weight to torque ratio among these 3 beasts. This test shows that weight to horsepower ratio still matters. I also think if a 5000 pound trailer is added to each of these the Tundra would likely not win due to less torque. Was an interesting match up. Imagine if it was the hybrid Max
@MrDan717112 күн бұрын
The GMC has a 15% torque reduction on take off until 3000rpm, this is through the first 3 gears and is on all GM vehicles Gas or Diesel and has been for many years. You can turn it off with a Tuner and it makes a big difference when towing or just everyday driving. I have a 2008 H2 Hummer with a 6.2L with CAI, Longtime headers and a Tune and it runs extremely well. I also have a 2012 6.2L Silverado Z71with a Caper Shell and a 3" lift on 33/12.50/18" that has a CAI, Texas Speed Cam, Longtube Headers, Fast Intake and it is an absolute Beast. I also have a 2018 Silverado with a 5.3L that has a CAI, Longtube Headers, and a Tune that is a daily driver that runs extremely well also. I run Monster Transmissions in all my vehicles and have them all tuned with Diablo Tuners, some are tuned on a Dyno as well and both trucks are Crew Cabs.
