Spoiler: Classic's mind gaming of game 3 was superb. He knew Dark was afraid of mass Phoenix after game 2 and would be unlikely to go mass Ravager again, so he anticipates mass Ling instead, as Dark is practically allergic to making Hydras. First, he gets good damage with his first 3 Oracles. Second, Classic baits the Zergling counterattack by leaving his own base completely defenseless and proxying one of his own gates - so Dark's army is split and his own stays together, all-in on the offensive front. With Dark half on offense and half on defense, and Classic's army unified on offense, Dark gets shredded. Classic even made a single Phoenix at the 7 min mark in game 3 to fake the mass Phoenix swap and continue to make Dark afraid of making more Roaches and Ravagers, which would have helped Dark defend vs Classic's mass Stalker. The mass Oracle finish was the cherry on top.... when Dark finally assembles a good Roach/Ravager force, they get lasered down from above.

Spoiler Lol at game 1 ending. "He's got an amazing ONE PUNCH army now" Zerg burrows lurkers and flies corrupters on top of army. GG. 😐

Corruptors and vikings are op against protoss. With 28 supplies of tiers 2 (14 units) you can stop almost all tier 3 protoss units : carriers, tempests, voidrays, colossi plus a lot of tier 2 units phenixes; prism, oracles. They should cost more supplies. Game 1 is a pretty good example of this.

As much as I love Bunny it was his match to lose. He had multiple opportunities to win, but he made too many mistakes.

Listen, I like Bunny but Dark is an amazing player and him beating Bunny was well within reasonable expectations Please try not to hate on Dark for doing his job and giving us entertaining games

Maru was also eliminated in the previous season in the round of 16... That season Dark advanced first place.

@@Anthony92815yeah but Dark has been knocked out super early at least twice I can think of off the top of my head. There have been generally far fewer Zerg in Rof16 for a number of years than other races. And the only 2 Zerg who've really had a chance to win in the last maybe 5-7 years I've been watching have been Rogue or Dark of whom Rogue is gone for whatever reason. While There have been tons of top players for Terran and Protoss who've cycled through as real contenders: Maru, Hero, Zest, Trap, Stats, Classic, Gumiho, TY, sOs, Cure, Innovation, Byun, etc Race balance in top 16 recently (feel free to look further back you'll find similar patterns for years): GSL 2023 S3 - Zerg 5/16, 5 Terran, 6 Toss GSL 2023 S2 - Zerg 3/16, 8 Terran, 5 Toss GSL 2023 S1 - Zerg 3/16, 8 Terran, 5 Toss GSL 2022 ST2 - Zerg 6/16, 7 Terran, 3 Toss GSL 2022 S3 - Zerg 7/20, 7 Terran, 6 Toss Total: Zerg 24/84, 35 Terran, 25 Toss 2022 S2 - Zerg 7/20 2022 S1 - Zerg 6/20 2022 ST1 - Zerg 4/16 2021 ST3 - Zerg 4/20 2021 S3 - Zerg 4/16 2021 S2 - Zerg 5/16 2021 ST2 - Zerg 5/16 2021 S1 - Zerg 5/16 2021 ST1 - Zerg 4/16 etc etc etc Underrepresented in nearly every single GSL tourney for years.
