I wonder if they have gotten off the horrendous dealer markups, that's the reason I didn't get one several months ago. They wanted 500 a month on a lease, crazy, they would not budge. Nissan was the only one that didn't have dealer markup, so I ended up with a Rogue, bigger than the Seltos little more power, better mileage. And 380 a month. The only downside is the CVT but I'm only going to have it for 3 years. According to Consumer Reports they have been getting better.

I was In a similar situation two months ago, except I was looking to buy not lease. My local Kia dealer had a 6k markup on every new Seltos on the lot, and all other Kia dealers within a 300 mile radius of my home had massive markups as well. I went to my local Kia dealership and i spent hours trying to negotiate a deal that I was comfortable with, but they would not budge for me either. The next day I went to the Nissan dealership across the street, which had no markups on any of their vehicles, they were actually selling some of the Rogue's slightly under MSRP. I ended up test driving a new 23 Rogue and loved it and one hour later I drove It off the lot with a monthly payment I was comfortable with.

Kia/Hyundai is really coming up in the world. It’s got a long ways to go to surpass Honda, Mazda, or Toyota but it’s easily better than anything the Big 3 have produced in the last decade or so. If the Koreans can clean up their QC it’ll be impossible for the US or EU to keep up. That all being said Kia cancelling the Stinger might be the biggest sin they’ve ever committed

U dont show the cameras quality no more ben been watching you awhile it seems like you just rush the reviews now really not trying too be mean but slow down some show us the things in the vehicle we might wanna buy

Putting a turbo on a 1.6 l four-cylinder engine is a recipe for disaster. I don't care what the salesman say or the company says Kia is not known for making good quality engines. On top of that putting a turbo on a not very good quality four-cylinder engine not a good idea. I don't recommend turbos on any engine regardless of how many cylinders that has. You're going to ruin the life expectancy of the motor . I don't suggest turbos on any make or model car out there.. If you can buy a 4, 6 or 8 cylinder vehicle without a turbo you're better off.. longevity and reliability is the most important. Also if somebody is interested in this car find out who makes that transmission and research it. Just research Kia as a whole as company and all the recalls they've had on their vehicles. If you do insist on buying a car with a turbo on it you're better off is Toyota or Hondas. And if you look at those models and they do offer turbos on their engine make sure there 2 l engines and above. Stay away from 1.4, 1.6 l engines with turbos on any branded car.

This is such a 1990s take it’s not even funny. Honda and Mazda have made turbo engines that have cleared 300k miles with nothing but oil changes and proper care - gentle warm up and “spool down” before shutoff. 90% of turbo problems are caused by the idiot behind the wheel not properly taking care of the vehicle.

@@mikejones762 all manufacturers do it but it's just completely stupid. Another part to fix another part to replace if it fails. All that technology would be fine if they put the best internal parts in the engine but you know they don't. Manufacture so just make things simple. Manufacturers should make 24 and 6 cylinder engines with regular fuel injected. These engineers can make those engines better get good gas mileage without all the unreliability BS that they put on these engines. All these engineers are just suits and now that I'm I guarantee you probably don't even work on their own cars.
