This car is a absolute steal for $24k. Very very roomy, heated seats, good tech, good fuel economy and good warranty. If your a a point a-b kind of person you can’t beat this car and value

I have a 2024 Soul S in Surf Blue. I've only had it since the 24th (1-24-24). I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. We're so far getting up to 35 around town, we haven't really done a highway trip yet. It is solid, it is fun, it has more "assists" than I ever knew a car could have and it is by no means the most "upgraded" Soul model. It is perfect for me, I LOVE it. Edit....it's gone as high as 37.3 mpg just around town.....

Have a 2021 S trim. Such a great car for a great price. I just bought decent winter tires for NJ snow. Despite some old reviews by KIA haters, the Soul is very quiet compared to earlier models. $4K deals below MSRP are long gone, but it's still a great 'bang-for-the-buck' value.

I got a soul in 2017 with a panoramic sunroof. That was just an amazing feature and it's totally what sold me the car. I was so disappointed when they discontinued that.

I like the boxy look of the Soul. It's spacious but somehow not being too big. Too bad it's been discontinued here in my country, along with the Picanto.

I am 43 and have had 2 Kia Souls so far. This is not a good first car, it's a good car for anyone not wanting to spend an arm and a leg for a car. I just need something for work and back which is about 10 miles a day and the occasional ride on the weekend. People get in to stupid debt buying more car than then can afford or need.

My EX has a Sport Mode. It probably doesn’t perform like a Turbo but it might have given you a little of what you may have wanted.

Bought it for my wife. First brand new car and shE LOVES IT! Honestly I like it a lot too. If you put it on sports mode it does pick up speed faster. But overall it’s an amazing smooth car.

Its a great commuter car, thats really affordable if going with the a lower trim.

That chime sounded a little different at first. Not much changes for 2024 model year as I expected. But what’s new is the EX Designer Package you can get on the EX Trim that sports 18-inch alloy wheels (same design on the 2020-2022 Soul GT-Line/GT-Line Turbo/Turbo) and has Umber Cloth & SynTex seating (same materials and design from 2023 that was exclusive to Soul GT-Line), and is now available in Neptune Blue exterior paint but only with the package-I saw one of those and I really liked it, just no option for LED headlights and taillights. I’m really liking the Neptune Blue on the original body styling; the one in the video, Gravity Gray, is one of my least favorites. The Soul EX is the best choice if you want the best fuel economy out of this model, definitely comes second for my trim of choice. Still, I really like the standard headlight design over the previous, and the front grille matches with the design you see most around the Kia logo-also a unique design there and that’s one of the numerous things I like very much introduced in 2023 model year. Awesome powertrain! But could always settle for a little extra power. Too bad that’s no longer an option. 14 months with my 2023 Soul GT-Line and no issues with it so far. Really fun and quite stylish to drive around on a fine, typical day. You really get your money’s worth for what it has to offer, in my opinion.

For 25k can they not put roof or console ac heat vents in the back?

they got rid of the 1.6 for a reason. Remember to change your oil and filter out at around 500 miles. That's NOT on their recommended list but if you intend to keep ANY new vehicle you need to do that. Use WIX filters. Why ask for trouble later because you allowed floating metal chips to stay in the engine?

I'm partial to Japanese cars but if I was into Kia's I would look at a fully-loaded Soul if I was shopping for a Corolla Cross or CR-V. These start at 20k and Corolla Cross starts at 25.5k. You can get one of these fully loaded top trim for the price of a base Corolla Cross. Sure the Corolla Cross and HR-V are better cars but $5k savings is a lot of money for most entry-level car buyers. I saw a video of one of these flip 10 feet into the air and land on its roof at highway speed and the driver got out uninjured which shows how far some entry level cars have come in safety.

🌚I know a lot of people like the turbo but it is good they got rid of it because there quality control isn't that good like Toyota and Honda so getting rid of the turbo was a smart business decision for kia now if there quality control was good like Toyota then I would suggest bringing back the turbo🌚

Good review, but I missed half of what you're saying because you're talking way too fast! What the people demand is AWD. Why won't they make an AWD Kia Soul? I went to a car show back in 2017. Found the Kia Soul of my dreams. It had everything I wanted except AWD. When I asked if the new ones had the AWD option, the Kia rep told me to hold off buying the 2017 and to wait for the 2018 model because they were coming out with an AWD option. Never happened. I live in Pittsburgh. We have bad weather with lots of snow. Why won't they make an AWD version? I was told because they don't have to because these cars are selling fine just as they are. My brother bought one. They suck in the snow.
