I like how you're honest about how much you can handle and you place those boundaries for yourself. I myself have had to do the same thing recently. It's hard to have to put certain languages on the side when you have a lot of things going on with university, but it's really impossible to take on everything (at least without driving yourself insane!!!). I myself, for now, am only focusing on 2 languages and am even being pretty flexible with that!!! Wishing you the very best this 2024✨

Love this video and how reflective you are :) I was planning my 2024 language goals and I was seriously getting overwhelmed with my usual problem - too many languages too little time!! I didnt know about your Dutch days so all of my guesses were wrong. In 2023 I passed the JLPT N4 in July and took (still waiting for the results) the JLPT N3 in December. My 2024 goals for Japanese is to continue studying as usual wih the intent of N2 in December, try to read a light novel or two, and to take more speaking classes. All the best with your degree and your language learning goals.

"Spanish is much easier than Japanese and Spanish is already too complicated because it has too many conjugations." "People only get languages by studying, even if they enjoy it and don't even realize they are actually STUDYING."

Interesting to come from your refold criticism video where you're criticising them for saying how it needs to be fun, only to come to this video and seeing you using refold in clips (for korean at least) and saying that your language learning needs to be fun.
