I love my rig! I have a 22 Armada, this thing is such a hidden gem. Japanese built, 15 yr old frame, strong V8, rugged, and just enough tech to where it doesn't drive you crazy. I love this thing

@@Jason-Samko yeah its a tank man. the overseas model (Nissan Patrol) has an even better 4x4 system with most of the modes that Toyota has cuz it competes with the Land Cruiser globally. we get the watered down version stateside

had one for a rental while my sequoia was in the shop. I liked it but the ride was not tight enough for me. Power was descent . its seemed to float all over the highway. Cheap though.

I still have my 2005 Armada, 230k miles, repainted twice to stay sharp (nissan paint has always been no so great imo). No one believes its a 2005. Only issues in that time: new radiator, new starter, new tranny cooling lines. Unbelievable rig, great family hauler. I have a 19 toyota tundra trd pro too but I like my armada more for many reasons, mostly its more practical, the tranny never gear hunts, steering is tighter. Btw it isn't "ar made ah" it is ar mah dah.

Yep I get them confused. Think I said it both ways a dozen times in the video just to cover my butt. In Michigan there is a city called ar made ah right next to where i lived most of my life. So very used to saying it that way

That "Liberty" nissan dealership in Illinois that you brought up is full of it. I've contacted them several times, through phone, email, and text messages trying to get an out the door, cash price on a 23 pro4x. Advertised as new with 0 miles, almost 10k below msrp. I specifically asked on the phone acual miles and if it was a demo. They said NO, its NOT a demo and only has 20 or 30 miles on it. They kept saying they would call back with a price. But never did. The last time i called the person said it was a demo with 2 to 3k miles on it. One of the office ladies drives it and that it's too much trouble and too many hoops to jump through to get a price and sell it to someone out of town... Im only 290 miles away in Michigan.

All these low priced ads will be dealers that will try to change the price on you or do add ons. But they are what I have found to be the best place to start my negotiations. But getting these deals is doable, but it takes some work and negotiations skills. They are not going to give in easy. And often it takes 10 to 20 dealers to get the best deal. But I've done it over a hundred times. It's worth learning negotiation tactics and being able to understand how the dealers work and what games they play.

Has anybody had any issues with their battery? On the Armada Facebook page there are a lot of complaints about batteries dying frequently. Some are saying that something from the smart alternator has to be disconnected. I called a few Nissan service centers and none of them claimed to have heard of this issue. I would like to buy this vehicle, but this has made a little scared.

@13hiker never saw anything about that on any of the complaint sights I looked at. It would not stop me from buying one. If it had a battery problem I'd ha e nissan fix it under warranty.

Change your setting to search by lowest price. Those are always the ones to call first. It will take some calls and negotiation to get these deals as all dealers will fight you on it. But it can be one. Just need to devote some time and energy to it. dealing with dealerships suck. But worth it to make the deals happen. I litterally made that video last night at 1am. These are current ads.

You'd have to be stupid to buy a sequoia for over 70k when this vehicle is available... Has the V-8 rather than the twin turbo enough tech that's usable built in Japan? Not sure but if it is DAMN another point for it! My dad has a 2007 Nissan Titan he purchased it brand new, roll up Windows & manual locks I think he paid $17,500 has almost 300,000 miles now & runs like a top with VERY cold AC. We live in PHX paint is fucked up but powertrain solid like a 🪨

@devildog5354 crazy to think about those prices vs today. Remeber when I bought my new 96 xj cherokee I paid 15k new for it if I remeber right. Just got my first job as an engineer for gm and worked 70 hours a week for a year to save up all the over time to buy it cash.

There’s a dealership in Colorado that was offering 23,000 off. I worked a deal on one unfortunately there’s no sub vented rates and there’s an 18 month lease special unfortunately you don’t get all the cash for the discount so these are basically worthless unless you’re willing to pay over 1000 a month

@@Jason-Samko I’m trying to decide between a 22 Armada or brand new frontier pro 4x and frontiers hold more value but I just like armadas so much more. Mpg is better on frontier and what I’ve heard is that the armada loves gas.

This rig is awesome and what a deal. I see hundreds of them down here in georgia. Such a sexy vehicle and the price right now is incredible. You get so much for your money. My dad had a Infiniti qx80 a few years ago. Said it was the best suv he ever owned.

Buy it, drive it around the block and even Nissan will offer you peanuts for it, IF they will even trade it back! They were not selling and that's the reason for the price drop - and in my opinion, it's still too high for what I find to be a rather ugly SUV. Cannot compare this to a Toyota. (must say the 2024 is a bit nicer looking than the older ones - lol)
