It's ironic that the Murano is one of the more hated Nissan models, yet it's also the only Nissan that's actually been consistently good for the last decade

It's my time to buy a 24' Nissan Murano now.

I absolutely love my 2018 Murano. I suspect that I'll get another Murano in a few more years. I hope the redesign is as spectacular as this current model group seems to be.

I have owned a 2008 and still possess a 2015 model Marano as I’ve been waiting for the new release but I really enjoy the luxury ride the performance and reliability. That’s why I will buy my third Murano.

Nice review man ! This to me is the best looking version of the Murano. It is a little long in the tooth and I would rather see Nissan keep the Maxima alive but the SUV/CUV demand speaks volumes. Love what you do ! 😎

Great review, thank you. I've liked the Murano since it was first introduced. Cool looking SUV. Yeah, it's dated now but you are right about the reliability. How did you find the CVT for noise and pulling power when passing? Is the V6 a good match to it?

The internet falsely claims MURANO has drive modes. If it does how do you do it, there no dial like the pathfinder there is a manual shift gate that makes it manual shifting. Internet says AWD 2024 MURANO can hit 60 in 7.2 seconds with 260HP. Maybe you got a slow one?🤷🏾sport mode would help acceleration if you know how to access it( most people don’t)

I'm leasing the 2024 SL. AWD. The look of it isn't anything special but it drives great and has power.

This body style came out in 2015 and this may be the last vehicle that comes with a compact disk player. Its time for a complete redesign for 2025. I own a 2016 with 130k miles on it and the V6 is so reliable. The CVT has worked perfectly so far but you need to change the fluid every 35k miles. The fluid gets dirty quickly and it will breakdown causing the CVT to overheat and fail. . People that think they can go 80-100k between fluid change is going to be in for a rude awakening when they have to replace the transmission. I would recommend this vehicle it has plenty of power and is extremely comfortable for long trips. I cant wait to see what the redesign looks like.

Can’t believe the 2024 STILL hasn’t changed….guess we have to hope for a complete restyle for the 2025 model now?? I can’t justify buying a new vehicle that looks the same as it did a dozen years ago and with outdated tech like low res infotainment screens and wired CarPlay.

No one eve puts MURANO in sport mode in acceleration tests like they do with other vehicles. It’s because sport mode isn’t obvious like a button, you put the shifter in the manual shift gate with. The + & - signs and then it’s in sport mode , you should be able to hit 7.0 in sport mode if you can endure the whine of the CVT 😅

when are they gonna change the design of that car it's overdue

I love my Murano i had a 2020 now i a 2023 but i’m getting bored nothing changes its outdated specially in Tech inside basic is the word 😢 even cheaper cars have better screens ect and keeps getting more expensive while it lacks Upgrades

I love the body design of the Murano but to be honest, the Rogue (I have a 2021 Platinum) has alot more luxury features than the Murano and you get more bang for your buck!

Are the fog lights protected better? Tell me more about the transmission.

I want to know how cars like these are considered "midsize" and pretty small back seat and hardly any cargo space. A Ford explorer dodge Durango Chevy traverse etc etc are mid size. This is compact.

What will happen to the Murano? Is it getting discontinued or having a 4th generation in works?

kinda slow 0-60 for a v6, the rear kinda look like the jukes 😁

What about the CVT transmission, Mitsubishi is know for bad transmissions?

why would I waste my money on this old design when I can get a new redesign rogue or pathfinder

Buy the Murano now; NEVER buy car in its first year of production. Let them iron out the kinks
