I paid 42k for a 15 and nothing has changed except the front end crazy how inflation has pushed up prices.

Interesting. Just picked up a new ‘23 2500 4wd w/Cummins. Came with factory steps, sprayed in liner (aftermarket), upgraded, larger touch screen/audio. It has the vinyl seats, which we wanted. Solid back glass. It was discounted $8k from the $66k msrp. It has everything we need and nothing we don’t. I’m told we did really well. I don’t like the tiny screen on that truck and also the additional $3k on the msrp. First Cummins for me and I’m really impressed!

There is so much inventory on Ram HD, am seeing round 12-15k off right now, there are a ton of Ram HD and most are the cummins.... RAM is the most expensive...... I picked up a 6.6l gas 2023 Silverado High Country 2500HD for 65k in april.....

From what I read Ram had a 30% price like from 2022 to 2023. Example, a fully loaded Laramie Cummins 3500 was priced in the upper 90s until recently when dealers have been marking them down 10-12k. I paid 83k for my fully loaded 2024 Silverado 3500 high country duramax. The window sticker was 89k. An equivalent Ram 3500 Laramie was 99k.

Yeah, I've noticed. 21s where actually reasonable if you got it for MSRP. Now since stellantus raised the prices across the board, they are unreasonable for a 6 speed, 2010 cab no telescoping sterring wheel truck. They are piling on lots and you can get almost 18k off msrp on select 23s right now

Love the gray color with the chrome. Classic! Need one in white to match my Gladiator but have to be able to adjust the seat higher. Except for the manual seat I really like the Tradesman. Fantastic HD work truck.

I was thinking of downgrading into a similar truck from my 17 3500 srw Laramie aisin HO... The prices on these new trucks is insane. I think i will keep the 2017. Nice video.

I was able to pick up a 2016 Ram 2500 with 170,000kms for 12.500 CAD it has a transmission issue so a rebuild is in the works. But will be happy if I can get it fixed without breaking the bank

I bought my tradesman 6.7 in 2017 I think I paid 53k and I’m so glad I bought the truck then because it is paid for now and I have upgraded the problems with a be built transmission and I have no plans of buying a new truck for 100lk

These trucks were around 40k ish 3 yrs ago. I don't see 20-30k extra in the new ones. Guess I'll have to wait for the next market crash to get one 🤷

You can get a 23 with around 15k off msrp. So it's still expensive, but you can get one in the low 50s off the lot if you can find the right deal.

Everyone says gm exhaust brake sucks but in my 18 duramax I don’t have any issues … I pull 10,000lb machines regularly and the exhaust brake damn near does all the braking

Turning radius sucks. Exhaust brake is good, not too strong. Nice ride, good hauler.. price is a bit expensive unfortunately.

I just went from a 2019 ram 3500 dually H O. to a 2024 chevy with the allison 10 speed. Ram needs to get with the program and add the allison. it is much smoother at lower speeds and shifts better and smoother I am sold on the 10 speed.

Just purchased a RAM 1500. Owners manual says to not drive over 50mph for the first 300 miles due to engine break in. What's your thoughts on that since you take the vehicles on the interstate for test drives? Thanks!

What? Are you serious? If that’s the case there is absolutely a flaw in the engine they’re trying to cover up. Now something actually reasonable to state would be “don’t take the engine over 3500 RPM for the first 300 miles” or “don’t take the engine over 5000 RPM for the first 1k miles” but to claim that going over 50 mph in a brand new vehicle will damage it is laughable.

@@RAM-KINGOFTRUCKS You’re right, only a stupid person would buy a vehicle that can’t go over 50 mph for the first 300 miles of its life. I literally could not drive my new truck to work if I bought that dodge POS. A RPM limit for break in makes sense, an mph limit screams a manufacturer defect.

bought a truck nearly identical to that in 2018. it was like 55k. stupid they charge so much more for the same exact thing.

The 68rfe only lasted 49,xxx miles in my 2018 Limited Tungsten Edition. Ram was good as far as the warranty. It happened during that period when the country fell more into communism so I had to wait almost three months for parts though, which really sucked. Other than the trans the truck has been good.

How can drive it and not complain about those football field size side mirrors. I just went from an 18 ram 2500 to a 23 2500 and I feel like I can't see a damn thing out of it those big ass side mirrors sticking up like that. The mirrors on 18 2500 weren't half as tall but they would flip up for towing and I liked them. The mirrors on this 23 model are horrible, even at night the mirrors are so big you get blinded by every damn car behind you.

They make a great truck. To own for 3 years and trade in on the next one. I know very few new super duty buyers that keep them longer than 36-48 months
