Hi. I believe that rubber sleeve / tied own on the live valve at the shock can be moved up the wire so the cable tie can fit around it

Hi, I did try to move it up and it seemed pretty stuck. I might try again to see if it will slide up. Thanks.

Do you know if you can fit 35’s on it with a leveling kit and an offset wheel?
@A-RSpeedАй бұрын
35's would definitely not fit with +12 on a 9" wheel. They do have a crash bar and I have heard that people are taking them off. That would help. From what I am seeing, most people run an 8.5" wheel and +25 offset or higher for 35's. These 33's only have about a half inch of clearance on the crash bars right now.

Before the lift kit were there any issues with the tires rubbing? Trying to figure out the largest offset I can get without rubbing. Want to keep the same size tires. Any specific wheel info you have would be appreciated.

There was no rubbing before the lift, but it was getting close to the crash bar. I think a 0 offset on a 9 inch wheel might touch the crash bar in reverse.

On mine I run an 18x9 +20 wheel with 35x125 AT tyres, theres no rubbing even at full lock. I used 2 inch strut spacers in the rear and 1inch in the front for a perfect level

Do the collars affect anything in offroad ability wise?
@A-RSpeedАй бұрын
I think it could slightly reduce front end travel, but it would be very little.

Has the ride and handling changed much after the Foutz Perch Collars were installed?
@A-RSpeedАй бұрын
It is a little stiffer, but definitely not bad enough for me to talk someone out of installing them. Still a comfortable ride.

Some people will go to any length to screw up their suspension.

This might sound stupid but how did you make the wheels stick out a bit? I would like to do the same with mines. Thanks
@A-RSpeedКүн бұрын
The wheel offset. The lower the offset, the more they move outwards. These are +12 offset.

Did you need an alignment afterwards?
@A-RSpeed2 күн бұрын
I did have it aligned, just to be safe. The shop said it wasn't off that much, but I figured $100 alignment was better than $600 in front tires.

Nice, but I still prefer the factory beadlock wheels
@A-RSpeedАй бұрын
The factory beadlocks look great. I am not a fan of the base wheels that these came with. I prefer just a little more offset and for the money, these are a great deal.

Pretty amazing Ford having R&D budget of billions and designs vehicles with a certain stance for a purpose and people spend good money to defeat it for no purpose other than just looks! In fact, this 'look' actually is detrimental to the performance but I guess looks is more important than any real performance!
@A-RSpeedАй бұрын
It's still plenty capable for our application on the East Coast. That .75" spacer does very little to diminish performance and impact overall strut stroke. It allows for taller tires, increased ground clearance, increased breakover angle, ect... I guess if you don't like it, don't do it to yours.

If you did a little research instead of spouting ignorant opinions you would see the new Tundras and Tacomas are having all kinds of problems and catastrophic engine failures
