A few notes: Put the key card under the camera to unlock the car. It works on the M3 flawlessly. To open the frunk or trunk tap on sign open, not on the actual trunk on frunk on the display.

Sorry but this is the 2024 version and not the 2023 version as you've indicated. The camera button on the steering wheel wasn't introduced until 2024 models.

the back center has also wirelss charging for 2 phones. does it have ambient lighting?

The white ambient lighting is barely visible even in the dark.
