The key is getting a video suggested a lot. That grew my views greatly. The problem is...i sold the beat exclusively and the artist wanted the main video that was bringing in suggested traffic removed. That absolutely killed me in the algorithm and it's been a struggle ever since. I immediately went from 15-20 new subs a week to 1 or 2. Lesson...do NOT remove well performing videos for ANY reason. State during negotiations that the beat vid must remain on your channel regardless of exclusive rights.

Good advice man. Thank u
@Prodby-Omghaii.Loyall Жыл бұрын
Tbh- don’t do exclusives. W/o doing them, you can sell 1 beat x10 more by simply changing its key words and buying it promotion if/when it’s relevant. Say for example, I put out a metro boomin beat, and six months later metro drops A viral single or a viral album. Provided that beat has good tags alr, I can use google ads + Facebook ad manager to promote that beat. Spend a 1,000 on it, get it infront of a solid group of ppl and with a good Ad, targeting, and timing- I can make back 5K figures from it in a week or two. All from one beat.
@prdbyriz10 ай бұрын
Bro could you please tell me how much you sold the exclusive beat for!? I have the same offer but don't know what to charge exactly, like whats the market price
@ProdMinty9 ай бұрын
@@prdbyrizi charge like 200-400 depending on how much i like the beat lol. I get a good conversion rate tho so when people pay me in usd 400 will be like 600 for me. But i think this is a good price most rappers i talk to think this is reasonable

This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my KZfaq channel 7 months ago about self development. Now I have 728 subs and > 200 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.

Whoever you are, I don't know you personally but I can say that you're one of the non-judgmental and open-minded people who is not fixated on tangible or external factors in order to learn from someone like me. Just because someone doesn't have a piece of paper as a credential, doesn't mean that person is not entitled to share personal experiences with the hope & intention to inspire others. Keep up with whatever it is that you're doing to improve mankind or improving your life even to a slight degree each day. This is just one part of a bigger puzzle for creating my KZfaq channel about holistic health. I literally could have died back when I was 14 years old due to major depression but here I am right now replying to you, a KZfaqr, who's full of fulfillment and dedication to help others to be a better version of themselves. I ain't better than anyone else but my old self. That's all that really makes this KZfaq thing more meaningful and enjoyable. Thanks so much for your support! I am hoping that you can join me with this endless personal development journey! :) @@Mattjki

great video! but you say at the end that probably the best method to get suggested is to copy title description etc from a big video, but the example you show is a channel that got reccomended on a gunna type beat and he's doing something completely else..... so basically you cant get yourself suggested, you can just hope that you will and obviously that's great if you do

One thing that we have to understand about YT is that they care about the advertiser most. I have been on all 3 ends (viewer, advertiser and creator) for 9+ years and im the happiest as an advertiser more than anything else. Growing a YT channel as a creator has been the hardest part of my business and is not even a joke, having a business be at the mercy of what the algorithm lord wants is painful to say the least...

Can you make a video on How to Make Beats "Ready to Sell" - may be technicality wise... ? so that beginners like me can be sure to put decent quality beats out there. Also, like some beatmakes sell mp3, wav and stems on different licenses on Beatstar.. how do they manage hundreds of Beats database? Like managing file/folders etc. What level the mix should be when uploading the final beat on KZfaq? some say -6dB for keeping the space for vocals and post processing etc. (For me, I make beats, have made around 50 - most of them are hip hop, have worked with 2 rappers on 3 songs as well. Do basic mixing as well.. but still quite new to the Beat Selling thing - any suggestions and guidance will be helpful) --- This video was great and full of knowledge. Very rarely I finish such long videos in one sitting but this one held me captive for the wisdom bombs it kept on dropping. Thanks a ton for the video.

What if You're a DNB producer? And you are getting some sick label releases in 2023? So tough to decide what to do with your Best work, It almost seems stupid to solo realease them, whilest a dope label deal can give you a huge kickstart. Because Im a bit confused as to what to choose in this situation, because solo releasing hip hop beats is just easier and makes more sense becasue rappers will pay you to use them, and you'll prob also keep a cut of the royalties. Would appreciate your input / point of view on this. Cheers!

Question…. I have a niche and keyword phrase I would like to tackle and dominate and there low competition according to vidiq. I took a look at KZfaq and the top creator has 50k subs uploading a beat almost everyday with the keyword I want to use. Other than the one creator, there’s other people with less than 2-5 k subs. Do you think it’s wise to take on this keyword or find a new niche with a smaller competition? I currently have less than 100 subscribers. Reason I don’t mention the keyword is cause it doesn’t really matter, i think the answer could apply to anybody really starting out.
