Hello everyone, and welcome back to another video tour! Today, I am featuring the 2024 Thor Motor Coach Compass 24KB Class B+ motorhome!! This Compass motorhome is on the AWD Ford Transit chassis with 3.5L V6 Eco Boost® Turbo Gas Engine with 310-HP and 400-lb.ft. Torque! This includes the 10-speed Automatic Overdrive Transmission (10R80) along with Ford Safety Systems (Lane Departure Warning, Pre-Collision Assist, Auto High Beam Headlights, TPMS, AdvanceTrac® with RSC®, Hill Start Assist, and Rain Sensing Windshield Wipers). I have a class A and I sometimes use the front a/c at night due to the noise. With a single a/c, I wonder if more of a mid placement would be quieter? Then use a small fan to move air back. But I like it and it's a nice floorplan. And a/c units are getting quieter.

Loved the way you presented this coach. Is there an “inverter” with this model like there is on other smaller coaches? I can’t wait to retire at the end of the year. This Gemini is on the top of my list.

Great review! Only one issue...and that's with Thor. The fold out sofa falls short when deployed? Can a longer( even a couple of feet longer) be incorporated to make it sleepable for a couple of adults? Other than that... its perfect!!!

This is very nice small RV, what's the Gross Carrying capacity and the MPG on this RV ?

This model has the following details posted on a sticker found on the inside of the passenger door, "The combined weight of occupants and cargo should never exceed: 1,646 lbs. Safety belt equipped seating capacity: 4. Caution: A full load of water equals 257 lbs of cargo and the tongue weight of a towed trailer counts as cargo." As to MPG, some would conservatively say 12-14 while others would say 12-18. Depends on how and where you're driving. The best mine gets so far is 14.1 mpg and Ford recommends fuel with a 92 octane rating!!! Means you should be using premium!!!!!

No, the Compass does not come w/ a spare tire - most motorhomes do not come w/ the spare tire due to the safety concerns and difficulty of changing the tire.
