I am thinking to buy it, should I buy it? I live in a city kind of area.. so I don't know if to go for camry or Yaris. Because yaris is a small compact car, awesome for cites and its a daily car, maintenence and service is dame cheap for Yaris and Yaris is so reliable ❤❤

@reddevil6585 agree but all I hate is the gas mileage my friend has a 2005 toyota camry XLE V6 it's a good car and reliable but has very bad gas mileage only gets 20mpg in city 😢😢

It’s such a shame Toyota has to get rid of the v6. They only have the hybrid option, so they don’t even get any options anymore.

It’s such a perfect family car. The V6 will be missed. The TRD version is actually entertaining to drive.

At least you did not get a Hybrid or EV. The Camry TRD is very far from great, it is an enhanced Camry SE with a V6, then it is missing many amenities. The Camry TRD is not a Sports Car, it only has bolt-on body parts and it is not exclusive or has its own identity because any Camry can obtain TRD accessories to make them look like a TRD. It would have been a decent vehicle had Toyota Racing Development put more effort and thought into the Camry TRD. So, the real difference between the Camry XSE V6 and TRD is the exterior appearance because TRD wants to be Sportier. Overall, they are both family sedans in which the XSE V6 provides a better feel due to the amenities that the TRD lacks. If I had another $10K to spend, I would have bought a LEXUS ES 350 with a V6 or a Chevrolet Camaro with a V8. Bottom line, as long as you are happy, that is all that matters!

2017 was the last year for the Honda Accord V6 and 2018 was the last year for the Nissan Altima V6. Sad to see Toyota do away with the V6 Camry.

I got a lexus is 300 with the v6 and AWD 2017 year no problems yet its got about 80 000 miles on it And my girlfriend got a 19 accord but turbo 2.0 not bad power with the ten speed auto

One of the best grocery getters on the road. It really needs AWD badly to be considered a serious contender for a low end sports sedan though. Hopefully they add that to the V6 model.

The Lexus looks good but man that interior is out dated by years and it’s a bit smaller inside. I think the Camry takes the cake as it looks good and it’s a little more dated inside and space

I got this car 22 silver in color but no red inside and no problems with it so far but it's only got 40.000 miles. But the only thing is I I pick a different color then silver next time

XLE is setup for comfort and more luxury oriented. XSE is more sport oriented. XSE is the highest trim level with the most available options. TRD is a stripped down version of the XSE. TRD isn't worth it given that anything on TRD can be purchased an bolted on an SE for cheaper.

Is this car a TRD or XSE model lol?It has the 19in TRD rims but the back of the car on the badge it says XSE. Also the floor mats says TRD etc,this video description of this Camry is just confusing.

I see different specs on the 0-60 times. 0-60 in 6.0-6.7 seconds is way too slow for this car. My 2009 Camry was a fast beast and had less HP. Does the XSE and TRD V6 go 0-60 in 5.1 seconds?

That camera resolution is not just ‘questionable’, it is inexcusable, especially on a $40k car. And high quality resolution would not have affected the bottom line of this car. If the American suits at Toyota pay so little attention to detail on this feature, where else did they do it? Also the “premium” sound system in the upgraded navigation package is unimpressive as well. These things have given me serious pause about this vehicle, notwithstanding its impressive engine performance. But the little things matter, especially for a car at this price.

When I went to Toyota to look at a Camry back in 2021, they wanted to add 10k over that 41k price. I looked at them and said, you are smoking crack. Went to Lexus and got pretty much the same car for 45k.

You have to look at the total cost because monthly can be 300 for one person and 600 for someone else depending on credit score, interest rate, total price of car, etc. When I was at Toyota, they wanted 41k for the Camry, went to Lexus and got the ES for 45k. 4k more for day and night difference in luxury.

That 3.5 is just amazing😍. But the screen placement is awful. The 2018-20 models have a better interior The v6 is the best powertrain to get.

@JCVACCARO I mean that might be true but gas mileage is poor and according to the gas prices it would be smart to get a 2.5 liter 4 cylinder so you can get around 35 or 40mpg

@@AlexAlex-gs1xh I see what you mean but but not all are looking for them best milage. My 21 Camry gets better milage than my brothers 2.5 turbo Kia K5. The mileage isn't that bad with mine and the power and smoothness is well worth the trade off. It's sad that Toyota is getting rid of this engine for a turbo 4. It's ready that good.

@JCVACCARO u agree that turbos don't give good mileage but I am comparing like normal camry with normal engine to a v6 camry where my friend lives the gas prices are 4 dollars a gallon maybe near you it's less and I know not everyone is looking for good mileage but I personally would never like spending like 40 dollars to fill up every day or once a week

I will tell you my only beef about the car. If you wanna take off fast at a red light you gotta put it in manual mode and shift it with the paddle shifter to 1st gear and the car will shift it self before you hit 6000 rpms. Also the car takes off in 4th gear not 1st gear when you take off at a red light.

Yeah it must suck watching the Japanese flourish in the market segment where US automakers backstabbed their loyal customers. US sedans sold well until the Big 3 neglected them. American car companies only care about the vehicles they can overcharge the most for - trucks and SUVs. Fortunately for us the Japanese and Koreans were no so short sighted and bottom line driven.
