Toyota Vellfire is a luxury minivan from Toyota that mainly sold in Japan and some Asian markets. this generation is a "Third generation" (AH40). It is based on the TNGA-K platform as an Alphard. it is available with two engine option a 2.5Litre N/A engine and a 2.5Litre N/A + two electric motor like in the video with 250 PS mate to E-CVT automatic transmission and it is all-wheel-drive (E-Four). Comparing to 2023 Toyota Alphard AH40 a Vellfire is more sportier while Alphard is more of a luxurious.

Mainly on exterior look the Alphard suppose to be luxurious version which has different front end and tail lights compare to Vellfire which is a more sporty version.

You can get a V6 in the cheaper 2023 model! I’m sorry, the hybrid 4 is just too gutless for Australian conditions. On long hauls such as Sydney to Brisbane, the hybrid fuel economy is no better than the 6, only city driving is cheaper. Losing the V6 is a backward step and a deal breaker! They don’t even offer the turbo 4 like they do in the LM350, which at least goes close to the drivability offered by the 6. Less car for more money, may as well go full electric and be done with it. To add insult to injury, it’s a CVT gearbox, so you feel like someone is riding the clutch in a manual, everywhere you go! Again a missed opportunity, as at this price point they could have used the V6 hybrid they used in the GS for 15 years and still use in the LS. It has a 4 speed gearbox hooked up with the CVT, so it at least feels like you’re driving a car, not a slipping rev box. The fact these sell (and will sell in 2024) like this, tells me people have too much money and care too little about the driving or passenger experience. If that’s the case, why even buy a luxury car? A luxury car by DEFINITION has MORE than ample power, that’s part of what makes the experience luxurious!

Nice beautiful fully loaded, first class jumbo jet on road, this is very good for shuttle service airport to downtown only. Absolutely not a family van it’s tooooo fancy for kids to put it in 😅

It is a nice vehicle. But who is your quality control person because I would DEFINITELY sack them. If you would take the time to look carefully at the sticking. In many places they are out by a mile. So someone like me that looks for perfection would be concerned if they can not get this right. That you can see 👀 well what other claws would they have missed that you can not see. It is a shame when companies take quality control fools on. Well sorry if this sounds abrupt but it has got to be said. Kind regards David Patel
